Adding qATOM as collateral would allow ATOM depositors on Quicksilver to borrow against or lend their qATOM holdings on Umee, all while receiving autocompounded ATOM staking rewards.
qATOM users on Umee will be able to use advanced DeFi strategies that improve their portfolio’s flexibility, including:
✅ Leveraged LP'ing: Borrowing qATOM and/or ATOM and then providing liquidity for an incentivized pool, expanding available capital to increase returns.
✅ Looping: Providing qATOM as collateral to borrow ATOM, and then minting qATOM again, increasing staking rewards while maintaining ATOM exposure.
