PLU Rewards Audits | 24hr Payouts • Payouts returned to 24hr processing since 27/03/24. • Payout fees will reduce to £/€15 starting from 01/05/24. In the past 6 months, our compliance team expanded to manage increased sign-ups and card usage while ensuring 24-hour payouts. Despite recent delays in February due to spikes, swift manual audits have prevented 60,368.32 PLU earned from misuse, and restored the status quo since March. The payout fees cover volatile GAS fees and assists in managing past losses incurred on behalf of customers, while also supporting our investment in resources to expedite the auditing process. In the coming months, automated audits will allow customers to upload receipts for flagged transactions, reducing operational costs and enabling near-instant, cost-effective payouts.

Reward Payouts | Update In Q3, Plutus awarded an impressive $5m worth of PLU rewards, with daily payouts reaching up to $100k in value in recent weeks—the highest on record! However, this surge in rewards has resulted in a backlog of up to 2 weeks for PLU withdrawals. To address this, we are proactively investing in scaling our auditing protocols, aiming to revert to our previous 24-hour turnaround. Additionally, we're in the testing phase for various transaction monitoring systems, aiming to roll out a beta for instant payouts in the coming year. Notably, our efforts this year have successfully prevented over 100k fraudulent PLU from entering circulation, showcasing the value such efforts provide to the ecosystem.
Milestones and Rewards In recent months, our customers spent over $100m in value, earning a record 875k in PLU Rewards. Whilst both the Card Spend and PLU Reward volumes have reached new highs, we have also observed an increase in Total Stacked PLU figures, exceeding 4.4m PLU. Although an achievement, non-participating customers (non-stackers) on lucrative subscription plans contribute to the highest emission rates, accounting for 83.17% of issued rewards. 1. Conceptual Proposal & Community Vote: Please note, this is a conceptual proposal and not a final plan. No changes will proceed without full details, community input, and regulatory compliance. PLU Rewards on the new chain will be renamed to distinguish them from the rare PLU on the legacy chain. Full details will be shared after the 20th February transition and put to a vote before implementation in Q2 2025. 2. Notification & Transfer Period: Once confirmed, everyone will receive an email with a 30-day notice, giving you plenty of time to make decisions. If approved, you’ll have time to transfer PLU from your internal balance to an external one. After the announced date, all PLU earned in-app will only be available for payouts on the new chain. 3. Self-Custody Stacking: Rare PLU: Only rare PLU from the original chain will be eligible for self-custody stacking for progressing on Reward Levels & CRY. PLU from the new chain will not work for this purpose. 4. PLU for Utility Redemptions: Rewards on the new chain will be limited to utility redemptions and cannot be used for self-custody stacking. These rewards will be redeemable for utilities with a minimum £/€10 value per PLU, with improved card top-ups on PlutusSwaps (terms apply). Questions?
