both teams have the op stuff or neither team does, it was actually perfect, maybe the best ban system in any game ever, you would see so many different matchups too because every team can ban what THEY WANT, not what theyre forced to

i think the intention was more variety but people already prioritized different comps in the old system
i played like 6+ different heroes every day and we had like 5 comp archetypes but since theres a right and a wrong way to ban now we always end up in the same 2-3 matchups

the devs actually need to balance the game now, when the game is not balanced its gonna be REALLY noticable and annoying in pro play but in the old system
