How did I get 21k+ views on Reddit with my productized service launch? 👇
I read a post a couple of days ago, that an Indie Hacker got 100k+ views on Reddit after writing in multiple subreddits.
I was new to Reddit, so I wanted to try posting on Reddit. And it worked for me, I got 21k+ views within 2-3 days on Reddit.
I also got 1k+ visitors to my design subscription pentaclay.com.
Here's What I did 👇
- I listed down 7-8 subreddits that support Indie Hackers like us.
- I tried to browse them all and observe what kind of posts are getting engagements.
- Also keep in mind Reddit users don't like selling stuff to them. So, I need to provide value through my post.
I started writing about my journey, and how I acquired my first client for my design subscription business.
- I wrote about which social media worked for me, and which mediums I tried.
- I also wrote what methods didn't work for me, like cold email didn't work for me.
- Then I wrote what steps/methods I'll try next.
People liked that post and started getting traction right after I posted. Within a day I reached 17.5k views and 17+ comments.
Which Subreddits have I tried?
✅ r/SideProject (19k views)
✅ r/indiehackers (856 views)
✅ r/IMadeThis (474 views)
✅ r/Entrepreneur (1.8k views)
Result 🏆
- 1k+ website visitors
- One client meeting
Got 7 new clients this month — all inbound.
The wild part? They came from 4 different platforms.
Should I break down exactly where and how in a separate post?
Life would be so much easier if we didn’t have to constantly fill CMS with unique content for every template.
Honestly, it just feels like wasted hours. 😔
Most founders think design is about visuals.
It’s not.
Design is a sales tool.
The goal isn’t to “look cool” — it’s to make someone click buy.
Will you click the button? 👀
🚨 Wait ... Launch Alert & FREE giveaway🚨
As promised after 3 weeks of hard work, I launched my own @framer template store.
I will giveaway Free "CREATOR LICENSE" access for 24 hours.

I stopped posting on @dribbble a while ago — yet I still get leads from there.
But almost all of them are ridiculously lowball offers.
Makes me wonder… should I rebrand my Dribbble? What’s the scene there these days?
People love to overcomplicate websites and waste money.
Why spend $5,000+ upfront on a custom website?
There’s a smarter way:
✅ Pick a template
✅ Customize your content
✅ Launch in 48 hours
Even if you pay for a Framer/Webflow subscription for 15 YEARS, it still won’t cost as much as one “custom” site.

A client took my SaaS template — but instead of launching a startup, they turned it into a full aluminium products business.
That’s the power of good design — flexible enough to fit ideas you never planned for.
I can design in Figma, Framer, Webflow, Canva, PowerPoint, Sketch, XD, Adobe or whatever the tools coming next.
The thing is learn the skill, tools are just amplifiers.
Here's a website - designed in Figma, development in Framer & Webflow.
Design directly affects pricing.
Mediocre design = bargain brand.
Clean, premium design = pricing power.
Your product might be worth $5K,
but your design makes it look like $500.
I just upgraded to @contra Pro. Not because I wanted to—but because I had to.
Here’s why:
Contra now charges my clients $29/month per project, even when I’m the one who brought them to the platform.
The whole pitch I gave my clients was: “No platform fees.” That was the promise. Now I’m the one left looking unprofessional, and to fix it, I’m the one paying the price.
I also spoke with a few other Pro subscribers. Most of them say they rarely get discovered or hired directly through Contra. The extra exposure? Not really converting.
So let me get this straight:
– I bring my own clients
– I pay to avoid fees they shouldn’t be paying
– I don’t get inbound work from Contra
What exactly am I paying for?
If I start investing this time & amount in Upwork or even on Dribbble - results will be far better.
Your homepage should answer 3 questions in 5 seconds:
1️⃣ What do you do?
2️⃣ Who’s it for?
3️⃣ Why should I care?
If it doesn’t — redesign it today.
Check how we solved these problems. 👇
Made some bold moves this month.
October was the first time I ever hired full-time talents — a huge step for me. I hired 3 talents together.
And guess what? 7 more talents are joining in November.
In just our 2nd month, we’re already a team of nearly 10.
People in the community call me crazy — they just don’t see the vision yet.
Have you checked my new template in the marketplace?
It will be FREE for the next 48 hours.

Finally, I launched my design subscription explainer video. 😊
I chose the whiteboard explainer video type for this, it grabs the focus of the audience.

Most founders overcomplicate their website. They hire 3 agencies, debate colors for weeks, then launch something that doesn’t explain what they do.
If your visitor doesn’t “get it” in 5 seconds, you’ve lost them.
Clarity > cleverness. Always.
Love @framer — but there’s one big issue.
Almost all the clients I work with ask for an edit access to tweak or work on small updates with me.
and that is very practical.
If you give a client editor access, they can duplicate your whole project.
No way to lock ownership or protect work until the final payment is made.
There should be an option to lock remixing links on Editor Access.
I already lost $1000 with a client.
He made the upfront > completed the project > client wanted to work on contents and some images > gave access and boom ghosted now.
Any thoughts?
@jornvandijk
I hired the best designers. 15 more templates will launch within the next 30 days.

I heard a lot about @framer
So this month I started learning Framer, this is my first Framer template design.
To test if I'm qualified as a Framer Expert, I'm planning to launch 5 uniquely designed templates in the marketplace.
I'll dive into more complex layouts. What do you guys think?
If your website doesn’t reflect the quality of your product, it’s a liability.
You might be the best solution.
You might have the best team.
But if your design looks outdated, your prospects will never find out.
