Today, I am sitting here with 1M+ in unrealized gains.
This company has absolutely changed my life. Thank you to everyone at Palantir and this community.

I have a lot to figure out, but the eventual goal is for Palantir to be 30% of my invested funds. Currently it is at 80%.
I'll do this by trimming long term gains early each year.
Gains are being put into VOO, SCHD, IXUS, and various CEFs.

1. Hold longer than a year to get taxed as long-term gains
2. Tax loss harvesting can be used to offset some of the gains taken
3. don't sell more than 500k in long term gains or you'll get taxed at 20% instead of 15
Lastly, if you still like the company, keep your money in it.

Do I have to change my name from Dividend Dude to something else if my investment strategy has changed from mainly dividend growth to total return? Or nah? So far I feel like nah but I don't want to mislead people into thinking I am one type of an investor when I'm not.
