I did what I have been dreaming of for the past 2–3 years.
The thing I was yearning and dying for.
How do I feel?
Nervous? Yes.
Pressure? Yes.
Free? Yes.
But best of all... excited.
That is something I have been longing to feel for my future, and today was the beginning of feeling that more and more.
I appreciate every one of you who has been following my journey and those who are hopping on now.

Today was not the best of days, to be frank.
We were not able to get our MVP done, which is a bummer. We tried so hard, working around our lives to make this work, but it just didn’t happen.
I also lost some content I had planned for today, which I was excited to post.
Does that mean it’s over? No.
Does that mean I can’t move past this? No.
Does that mean I can’t build the future I want? No.
This is just a minor setback and one that isn’t that consequential in the grand scheme of things.
It will all be better tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then the day after. If not the day after, then the day after that.
If you failed today, just know it’s normal. Step away for a little and come back stronger.

I quit my 9-to-5 today and haven't been this excited in a very long time.
Don't get me wrong. I'm nervous.
However I’m also optimistic about the future!
On top of that, some good news came in for the business side of my side project.
I can’t wait to see what I can do, who I can meet, and to create my own space in the world with my own two hands.
I'll speak more about it in my update video. Stay tuned.

30 days ago I started posting videos, and it was the best decision of my life.
Day 30 of making enough money online to support myself in Asia
Day 1 was not the first video I created.
I created a video but was too scared to post it.
A week goes by of me seeing @emanueledpt and @robj3d3 doing their thing and thriving.
I was inspired!
So I picked up my phone, turned on my ring light, and started yapping.
This was not just a video for me, it was a chance to change.
A chance to show myself I don't have to stay the same and I can reach for the life I want.
Since then I have gained:
› valuable friendships and connections
› an artistic release and a hobby in the form of video creation
I am so grateful I took that leap 30 days ago!
To add on top of that, ITS MVP DAY.

10 hours ago we started coding, and I am still not done.
Today has been a day of:
> bugs after bugs after bugs
> frustration
> doubt
> tension
But we ended with accomplishment.
Our project now works…
Well… 80% is working. We still have more to test.
We are so close to realising what we envisioned a month ago!
What a fun day so far. I’m looking forward to my days looking more like this after my last day at my job.
I am going to jump on for one more session alone later.

I am scared of my own idea.
Day 20 of making enough money online to support myself in Asia
I made progress! I was able to get the smart contracts running from the backend in a local implementation at 2 a.m. yesterday.
The motivation to work more always comes at those hours for some reason. 😂
I also got an idea for a SaaS, but the sheer size of it (even with just one core feature) is bigger than anything I’ve ever tackled before but it's exciting nonetheless.
For now, I’ll keep planning because I still want to put a lot of effort into the main project/company.

Here’s some background.
I’ve seen some posts stating the different stages of growth on X, including from @nikitabier himself.
Usually, 0–500 followers is almost always known as the reply guy stage.
But here’s my issue.
I don’t like being a reply guy or at least, I’m bad at it.
I love creating content and interacting authentically.
I tend to skip a lot of posts because I genuinely have nothing to say, but for this strategy, that’s a no-no.
So… again… my questions are:

I have been struggling to balance everything.
Before choosing this life, I had a lot of time on my hands to do whatever I wanted, including nothing, but now I am blessed with the opportunity to build my future.
Unfortunately, currently that comes with sacrifices.

These have not been a high priority.
Fortunately, this isn’t permanent. In 72 days, my life and time management requirements will be a lot different, so I can use this high-difficulty time to train for the easier time.

My energy was completely drained from a halloween party last night.
I didn’t feel like doing anything.
So I told myself I will just do 20 mins. That’s it.
Well, I ended working for 2 hours and making so much progress.
Whatever task you’re avoiding, do it for a manageable time for you (like 20 mins), you might spend more time and move the needle more that you could imagine.

Today I figured out that I am burnt out.
Not with my own project, but with my 9–5.
Is that even a thing? To be selectively burnt out?
Idk, but what I do know is it’s not a nice feeling, and I don’t think it’s taken seriously enough in the corporate space.
You’re seen as a work machine that needs to keep operating.
I know in my indie hacking journey there may be times I’ll get burnt out, but two things make this less likely:
1. I want to work on my stuff.
2. I can take precautions to not get burnt out.

The only thing I have is consistency.
