The Ethics Committee of the Knesset decided to inflict on me a severe punishment of six months of complete parliamentary ban, apart from voting. I will not be silenced by this outrageous decision! Such is the state of the so called democracy in Israel, that those who chant their support for genocide and celebrate the killing of innocents are considered heroes, while those who fight for justice and peace are persecuted as "traitors". This decision is the utmost example of political censorship amidst the escalating fascistation of Israeli society. My moral and political duty remains for the value shared by all humanity - liberty and equality, peace and prosperity - as the entire world sees in horror how the Israeli regime undermines them. For that, I am proud to be among those who are persecuted by this bloody evil government and keep on fighting for an immediate ceasefire, for the return of the hostages, for a just peace and the end of the vicious occupation. I visited the Educational Bookstore in occupied East Jerusalem together with comrades MKs Aida Touma Suleiman and Ayman Odeh. The bookstore, owned by brothers Ahmed and Mahmoud Muna, was recently invaded by the occupation and censorship police, and the brothers were confined in a criminal house arrest. The occupation government and its arms on the ground persecute every critical voice and anyone or anything that might encourage independent thought. Persecution will not triumph! The struggle against it will!

In a visit to the Palestinian village of Al-Hamra in the occupied West Bank. As a member of parliament who was elected by almost 200,000 voters, Jews and Arabs, and committed to values of justice, peace and democracy, I shall not bow before this harassment and keep standing up for my values, undaunted and unwavering. ביום 09.08.18, לצערי, בטוויטר פרסמתי מילים קשות כנגד מר שמעון ריקלין. למרות הפערים העמוקים בתפיסת עולמנו, אני מתנצל שכיניתי את מר ריקלין בכינוי - "נאצי", המלים נכתבו בעדנא דרתחא. גם בחוסר הסכמה לא היה מקום לכינוי.

די כבר למכבסת המילים! אלה הם פוגרומים שמבצעים יודונאצים ארורים שאינם שונים במאום מהוריהם הרוחניים אי שם בגרמניה של שנות ה-1930. בעידוד ממשלת הזוועות הכהנאית, הם רצחו הערב את רשיד עבד-אלקאדר סדי בן 23, פצעו עוד פלסטינים, שרפו בתים ומכוניות בכפר ג׳ית ליד שכם. זה רק פשע אחד בשרשרת הארוכה של פשעי החלאות מהגבעות, כשכוחות הכיבוש עומדים מנגד, אם לא מסייעים להם. כשנה וחצי חלפו מאז פניתי לראשונה לשר הביטחון וליועמש"ית לממשלה בעניין טרור המתנחלים היומיומי, ועד היום לא זכיתי למענה ענייני. זה לא ייגמר עד שקיני הטרור יפורקו ויסתיים הכיבוש!

הסיבה שקיש איבד את זה היום במליאה היא שהוא יודע שרוב הציבור מסכים איתי בעניין המניעים של נתניהו. נתניהו הוא פסיכופת שהבעיר את האיזור כדי לסכל ממשלה חלופית ולברוח מדין צדק.

I joined the the women of Walja and Beit Jala, who lead together with peace activists and human rights defenders, a joint struggle against takeover of their lands by settlers. I’m visiting Umm al-Kheir, where my friend Odeh Hd’aleen, a Palestinian peace activist, was murdered by the settler Yinon Levi, now free. In response, the occupation forces arrested 8 Palestinians. I visited the Palestinian community of Muhayir al-Dir in the occupied West Bank, where an armed terrorist nest ("outpost") was recently set up, literally a few meters from the village houses. The governing coalition of war criminals in Israel passed the legislation to outlaw UNRWA today as part of the tsunami of political turmoil repression in Israeli society. Disgracefully, large parts of the so called liberal opposition supported this law and allow the criminal government of Netanyahu to run rougue. The humanitarian efforts of UNRWA are crucial to prevent mass extermination of Palestinians in Gaza amidst this worsening genocide.
