Blue Ghost lands on the Moon 🌙 👏
Rocket Lab supported Blue Ghost’s 45-day journey to the Moon with the Company’s MAX Flight and MAX Ground Data Software suites.
Rocket Lab also provided three high-efficiency photovoltaic assemblies, comprising our interconnected space-grade solar cells, mounted on the lander’s sides and top deck, providing 400 W of power over 1,470 operational hours to support the lander during its journey to the lunar surface.
During the Blue Ghost mission, the Rocket Lab team also supported Firefly’s execution of multiple burns and management of orbit determination and attitude control throughout the cruise and landing phases of the mission.

Rocket Lab + Stoke Space awarded a multiple-award, firm-fixed-price contract with a max cumulative ceiling of $5,600,000,000 for the National Security Space (NSS) Launch Phase Three 2025 on-ramp:
Rocket Lab $RKLB and Stoke Space have been on-ramped to the Space Force NSSL Lane 1 program.
The companies are now eligible for missions through 2029. The program has a ceiling of $5.6B and 30 missions guaranteed, 9 of which have already been awarded to SpaceX.

Rocket Lab supports Firefly’s Blue Ghost journeys to the Moon with Rocket Lab MAX Flight and MAX Ground Data Software suites.
Rocket Lab has also in the past (and assuming once again) provided the three high-efficiency photovoltaic assemblies (solar panels), comprising interconnected space-grade solar cells, mounted on the lander’s sides and top deck, providing 400 W to support the lander during its journey and operational life span.
During the previous Blue Ghost mission, the Rocket Lab team also supported Firefly’s execution of multiple burns and management of orbit determination and attitude control throughout the cruise and landing phases of the mission.
#BlueGhost Mission 2 heading to the far side of the Moon is bigger and bolder, and we have the team to make it happen. Standing over 22 ft tall, the structure qualification models for our Blue Ghost lander and Elytra Dark orbiter were built and fit checked at our Texas Rocket Ranch. Next up, testing!
