I really like this story, so the purpose of this rewrite is to write more cutscenes and enhance presentation, to convey the ideas that exist in the narrative in a way that I personally find more satisfying and effective.

To me, Shadow is clearly presented as a lone wolf here that just bumps into Team Sonic. I don't think he's being shoved into the team or replacing Amy

I see where this is coming from but I think Knuckles can have a browner skin tone and still have good contrast, kinda like in SA2
"Shadow and Knuckles don't look good with dark/orange skin tones. It doesn't contrast as much with their color scheme making their shapes way less clear, especially in the case of Knuckles. It DOES work on Rouge however, due to the white fur"
