Submission is: hyperfy.io/pill (tip: experience it firsthand before the spoiler! check out the 1-minute trailer in the next tweet, maybe better to experience and read all this) Hello! It's been so much fun to work on this challenge, knowing all the dope creators of the community, and after seeing all the submissions in a span of a week, I'm truly amazed, so I hope this one also fits into the puzzle. So, once the challenge was asking to push the borders of creativity, I wanted to concentrate on the medium of the Clones. The creativity that those assets could blossom is limitless today and will be more tomorrow, because of their 3d nature combined with its mesmerizing design. So I wanted to design an experience, to salute this open-endedness. It's a virtual theater, as a first step to see your clones in 3d in your living room, with vr, today. It's a mix of fashion, design, architecture, sound, light, and of course metaverse. I was thinking always how a theater in metaverse could happen, and this time I had a chance to do it! Like, the ambiguity of theaters impresses me a lot, the real-time acting, some mistakes, and problems that mean a lot. This time, in-browser. The clone bodies are like a palimpsest of our very near 3d nft history, and those remixes (like the original ones), have a lot to say, but they're silent. So this act is a meditation of what they would say. And I think Murakami Pill is quite powerful theoretically, in its own context, because the "actors" of this play need to perform and deliver their best to meet their creator, to have a second touch, after being born. It's a sublime thought. So, even though they're "files", they think like us, some have no clue, some believe, some are skeptical, like virtually agnostic. So, considering the power of the MP metaphor, it is hard to not hide behind it creatively, so I think the challenge was mostly that, to refer it almost enough. And, anyone who experiences this, is part of it. You'll select 1 of 3 clone remixes when respawn, and then boom, you are on cameras too! As I mentioned, there are two modes: cinematic and immersive. Cinematic mode is what you have below as a video, but cooler to see there I guess. But, in "/immersive" mode, you won't be forced to see from cameras, it's like you are in the film set, and you can walk around, and see how smart objects joggled in every second. (desert animation is worth seeing, a friend of mine called it estranged reality) After the end of any mode, don't forget to interact with the final NPC to check the sets. The final scene and the stairs at the end are designed for this venue. So, the set is designed with a sitcom math. Basically, there are 3 main angles, and they interact around a space. But in each of the 3 scenes, the space transforms, as well as the gear of the context. (you can skip here) As a technical side, there are an average of 5 smart objects with 2 emotes for each character for the whole(only would be possible in Hyperfy without a single line of code), they are on the world but you don't see, but their precise timing of when on/off is what makes it valuable as a new way of using 3d models. Since they're heavily optimized (3mb's each), it's easy to switch between them. And, it's not flat 2D, they're there, but they "act" with the series of prompts, and all synchronized with the sound because time is a reflection of sound. (composed of hundreds of ordered command lines for audio, smart objects, and lights with a millimetric timeline, will share its excel and screenshot below tweet too) huge thanks to @neon_dao for allowing to use the assets, remixed all back for @neon_buidl'athon no.1 it's an epic moment for me, @takashipom and @RTFKT fam will see and hopefully experience this. All the submissions are amazing, but the @RTFKTCreators were always best when having it top, since 0. (last tip: you don't need to connect your wallet when spawn, write /immersive or /cinematic in the chat, and enter. Our NPC colleague will help you there too!) So, why do they exist?

This Unity drama makes my efforts to improve glTF by building open standards even more important. We must get content creators to transition away from shipping content as Unity packages. I believe it's important for content creators to use an open format instead of developing for one specific engine. We can make glTF be that format. Imagine if, instead of importing an FBX of a car into Unity, then setting up the physics, colliders, headlights, wheels, seats, etc... you just made a glTF file in Blender that includes all of this information and can be imported into any engine that supports the format, no additional setup required. To be clear, I don't want to build an ecosystem of Godot content, I want to build an ecosystem of engine-independent content, with Godot having first-class support. If you want to get involved, check out OMI group. We have a Discord server. Come chat with us, from the high level stuff to the technical details. Building an open standard only works if we get a ton of people on board with a wide variety of experience across genres and engines.
