This is our return-to-home plane flying itself. Balloon pops around :21, and the plane stabilizes + points home after that. Lots more to do, but finally fundamentally working! Maybe I'll even learn how to aim the camera for better shots, someday;)
we successfully launched 6075 grams of so2 to the stratosphere today. here's the first 3095 Cooling Credits; they deployed at 31km. thanks, everyone who's supported (or motivationally bashed) @MakeSunsets
10,000 Cooling Credits successfully deployed to stratosphere today via 6 balloons. This guy got put in RV jail while I got another tank of hydrogen to make sufficiently buoyant
WOW almost all carbon credits are scams: "We estimate that less than 16% of the carbon credits issued to the investigated projects constitute real emission reductions"
The most effective activist group the environmental movement has seen since XR is calling it quits. Hoping some members reach the same conclusion me, @ASong408 , and our 850 customers have: we must personally take action to cool earth!
We have deployed 80kg of so2 to the stratosphere for 749 paying customers. How long until your efforts create as much cooling as ours? Feel free to round up, and take credit for @CarbonEngineer but not cost for @WeAreOxy ;)

i feel strongly that this culture produces poor results on the decade+ scale. the most successful people i’ve met only work like this for brief periods (at most). is there any evidence to back up glorifying hours inoffice producing sustainable ROI?
Our team on the ground at #COP29 was proud to partner with leading organizations to host conversations on the need for more research into #SRM and climate risks. Read more of our takeaways below.
we just have to magically stop emitting co2 then warming will stop. don't be sad, just buy an electric car!
This is the kind of polyana-ism that makes people distrust scientists. theclimatebrink.com/p/the-do…
I have been consistently impressed by the intellectual honesty of people working in climate science. It feels so good to read someone disagreeing with my work on substance while also being honest about the absurdity of political attacks.
Hmmm... maybe it's getting hotter, so we need to do things once considered fringe? "Once fringe ideas about how to artificially cool the planet are gaining traction." - foreignaffairs.com/world/sol…

My "How To Make An Ice Age" presentation from Hereticon: drive.google.com/file/d/1bKH… . Was great to see so many people disagree enthusiastically + civilly, and the iguana was *delicious*
fund activism not bureaucracy! "donations to organizations like Extinction Rebellion or the Sunrise Movement are six to 12 times more impactful than contributions to top-rated climate charities"
