Your Larva Lads NFTs are actually loaded from your connected wallet and used as playable characters.

6/ How can you check if an NFT is on-chain?
A simple "right click and save as" test is a quick and easy method. If the file is an SVG, it's likely on-chain.
For a more thorough test, you can query the tokenURI on Etherscan. If it returns a URL or IPFS link, it's not on-chain.
