The wins by TCU and Tulane should be enough proof that blue bloods and branding should have no bearing on whether a team can compete in the CFP. The FCS has played a 24 team playoff to determine a champion with no issues. The best team will always find a way to win.

Many Bearkat fans were slow to embrace the move to FBS but it seems the tides are turning for the fanbase as a whole. Many Bearkats are now excited to jump into C-USA play and are committed to being competitive in C-USA 4.0 and supporting the conference as a whole.
It’s tough being left out in a realignment round, but here’s a great reminder that the 4 new teams are thrilled to join C-USA. All you can ask for in conference mates is to be proud of the group and to elevate their game to elevate the group, which is exactly what NMSU is doing.

Nothing but respect for SFA’s Coach Carthel. This is why he is a good coach. Hopefully the Lumberjack fans can see that. This coach will stand by his team and the results where both teams had every chance to score and win. This is a rivalry game and all cards are on the table.

Great information! The Athletic Department and student activities should be pushing ticket information and advertising for the game with student emails, social media, and on campus events. A pep rally in the middle of campus would be a great way to increase student awareness.

These sorts of comments are sickening. No playoff seeding is worth more than the health and mental health of the players that experienced this tragedy tonight. KatFund will always readily support our players health over continuing a game. What happened to football is family?
No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game - but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome ... which suddenly seems so irrelevant.
