What a great honour it was to unveil the @RoyalVariety #BluePlaque for the legendary #MikeYarwood today with Mike’s family. My comedy hero! He’s so revered and admired. His shows are testament to his great talent and a brilliant chronicle of the news of the time..
Our final #BluePlaque today celebrates the legendary #MikeYarwood, OBE. His skill in portraying the politicians (& others!) of his day, were staple viewing for the British public. His Christmas Show in 1977 was watched by 21.4m people. Thank you Mike! #Variety4Charity
