This approach means that any Ethereum or Ethereum Layer 2 application can now deploy on Sei to harness Sei's speed and throughput, and users can interact with Sei using familiar tools such as Metamask. Sei v2 will bolster any execution environment built atop it with its advanced twin turbo consensus mechanism and parallelization capabilities. This approach equips Ethereum applications to harness Sei's speed, efficiency, and security. What does this mean? This proposed upgrade means that any EVM application can be enhanced with the benefit of 28,300 batched transactions per second of throughput, with 390 ms time to finality. This allows applications to support many more users and far more ‘web-2’ like interactive experiences than on existing EVM blockchains. As a technology, Sei offers far cheaper per-transaction costs, higher throughput and the fastest time to finality in crypto, while suffering from none of the centralization tradeoffs, complexity or the overhead of operating an Ethereum L2 rollup. In this way, Sei is making the EVM simple again. Some examples of applications that would benefit from this approach are scalable high performance dexes of any kind, massive multiplayer games, global payment and settlement applications and NFT projects looking to service mass global audiences. In short: applications that aspire to achieve mass adoption. Wen? Once audits are complete, this upgrade will be released in a public testnet in Q1 2024, and will be deployed to mainnet in H1 2024, subject to governance. After 3 months of my entry into the @SeiNetwork ecosystem and engaging with the team throughout my journey, here's what I think about them so far: The $SEI team is well organized and extremely engaged with the community, & fosters enormous amounts of networking and building. Some of best, honestly, that I've seen from past experiences working with other L1s/L2s. They're willing to work with the biggest projects to even the smallest anon teams, as long as you are building. $SEI has an giant ecosystem warchest that can be easily used for liquidity incentives but they know the importance of fostering native builders first to make the ecosystem robust which helps to screen for loyalists. Providing liquidity incentives too early only invites mercenary projects, grifters, pump and dumpers, and vampire attacks. In other words, the $SEI team is being very strategic by allowing native builders/loyalists to lead the charge without mercenary competition, before injecting massive incentives in time for EVM parallelization which forces the $ETH heads to play nicely with what the early birds have already built. TL;DR: $SEI knows what the hell they're doing

Some Thoughts & Alpha on Sei Ecosystem $SEI Ecosystem has seen a great inflow of activity during the past week driven by the price appreciation & its unique Defi-focused app-chain L1 narrative The majority of the hype is the flywheel that originated from $SEI price action skyrocketing + Memes & NFT Szn on Sei. The TVL has been slowly climbing but remains pretty low ~$5m TVL (albeit higher than Cosmos Hub) Top plays at the moment ➥ $SEI — The ecosystem token that’s used as gas & overall proxy for Sei ecosystem success… duh!) ➥ $SEILOR — @Kryptonite_fi Liquid Staking token ➥ $SEIYAN — Memecoin ➥ NFT Collections — @seiyansnft Top NFT collection that broke @Pallet_Exchange several times (Pallet is #1 NFT Marketplace on Sei). Better to use @Dagoraxyz as it’s much more stable I’m currently holding about 7 Seiyan NFTs and some $SEI. Accumulating more Seiyans if floor price retraces to <400 SEI • If you’re new to Cosmos ecosystems (like Sei) and have no idea how to bridge your capital there. Here are the steps → You can use Metamask Cosmos Snap but I would not recommend it as many of the dApps don’t support Metamask Snap yet and you won’t be able to connect to the dApp. Instead I’d recommend @leap_cosmos, @compass_wallet, @keplrwallet (for Keplr you have to add Sei which is a bit more cumbersome manually) → Bridge fund from EVM chains to Sei using the official Sei bridge (Wormhole) or bridge from EVM to Cosmos Hub or Osmosis with @squidrouter (Axelar) and perform IBC Swap to Sei directly inside your wallet → @astroport_fi has got 99% of the market share on Sei right now so go there if you wanna explore LP opportunities • @DefiIgnas has also written a great overview guide on Sei Ecosystem Opportunities. If you're participating in some new NFT mints (many of which have done really well during the past weeks), would suggest you to have many different wallets e.g. Leap, Compass, Keplr, Fin, to make sure that the mint goes through.
