I have news 🗞️
Kibo UI has been acquired by
@shadcnblocks!
This brings together Kibo’s open-source, composable component registry and pattern library with the premium blocks and website templates from shadcnblocks — creating a comprehensive ecosystem for teams that are building their design systems on shadcn/ui.
The ecosystem is growing faster than any of us expected — opening the way for entire businesses to build on shared design systems, components, and patterns.
After spending time chatting with
@ausrobdev, it was clear we share the same vision for component design, accessibility, and open collaboration. With this acquisition, I genuinely feel Kibo is in great hands and fully trust the direction it’s heading.
Don't fret though — all existing Kibo components and patterns will continue to be free, just with more support and a bigger stage.
Keep building 💪
