For those interested, TD ameritrade, e-trade, and Fidelity own their own clearinghouses. No, you won't get a free stock for signing up. 🙃
Their clearing firm is Apex Clearing and it's the same clearing firm used by Robinhood.
Knowing which clearing firm your broker dealer uses also helps mitigate risk if that clearing firm has order execution or liquidity issues like in times like this.
