Gm anon I get asked what happened to me a lot so here is the story. I was on vacation with my friends in Costa Rica and we were riding dirt bikes. I got into an accident and got a traumatic brain injury fractured my face, skull and ribs and got full body paralyzed. Mom did a gofundme and used it to get me the medical flight to get me back to the U.S.

Hi, everyone. This is Codey’s fiancé, Ileana asking to please help. Any and all efforts are appreciated. It is imperative that he gets proper care so he can continue to beat the odds as quickly as he has been. Thank you. P.S. Codey’s trusted friends and I have been trying to handle this as discreetly as possible the way he deserves until he was able to consent to make this more public as he values privacy above most things. I know he is loved by all who know him and I hope you all understand. gofundme.com/f/help-bring-ve…

When I got paralyzed my family became my foundation and took me in to stay with them while I recover and get surgeries to get my function back. Their latest act of love was turning a room in the house into my room for recovery. From here the view is all possibility🙌

Hi, again. Wanted to express gratitude regarding the donations. Thank you all so much. Truly blown away by the loving response from the crypto community. Many of you have asked about donating crypto. We are working on setting up wallets for this and appreciate some patience while it is figured out. Happy to share more information when there are updates. Any questions regarding crypto donations pls refer to @BradMichelson and @ampersandarrow as they will likely be handling the funds directly. Again, ty.

A lot of people asked about the story of how I got hurt so here it is. I got into a motorcycle accident while on vacation with my friends. I broke all of my ribs.injured my limbs and got paralyzed. Smashed my head into the ground and I ended up in a coma for a long time and the doctors gave me a 1% Chance to survive and asked my friends and family to say goodbye to me. I now have gotten 6 brain surgeries and spend my time in a hospital working on getting my body and mind back. The friends that stayed in touch helped to keep me pushing. Up only from here.

Learned that family isn’t who carries you when you can’t walk it’s who refuses to let ‘can’t walk’ be the final answer as they help me to relearn my functions of walking. My mom put up parallel bars up so I can do workouts while she spots me at home and get into the house.
