🥇 Higher Trading Competition – Top 1 AMA 🥇 We sat down with @cav4lier, the champion of our latest competition, to hear about his journey, trading style, and why Higher has become his favorite platform on Base. Q&A: 1. Can you briefly introduce yourself and your trading style on Base? - Hello, I'm a cav4lier living in Brazil. I started studying crypto in 2020. Luckily, I started earning, but I soon lost all my initial capital in the collapse of Luna and then FTX. I didn't give up because of that and continued doing airdrops, speculating, and currently I managed to recover everything I lost simply by voluntarily supporting new projects on Base. 2. How was your trading experience on Higher compared to other platforms? - I discovered Higher through a Clanker retweet and immediately started using it, and it was love at first sight. Most other Telegram bots didn't have a web interface, and it was difficult for me to use Telegram to manage my positions, which Higher does, and it's intuitive and easy to manage with an incredible UI/UX! 3. What was the most memorable moment for you during the competition? - In my first trade, I managed to double my capital when I realized that an influencer with 2 million subscribers started streaming on Retake. 4. You climbed straight to the #1 spot with just a few trades. Can you share the secret behind picking those “ace” trades? - I've been following the market for some time, mainly interacting on Farcaster, and I can identify when someone impactful to the community launches a project/token. 5. What were your main criteria when choosing tokens to trade? - First of all, risk management. I don't want to get rich or retire with just one trade. I'm here for the long term. If I can earn a little with each new launch, I'm already happy with that. The new opportunities are vast and abundant in this market, so there will always be something new that I can participate in with 1% or 2% of my capital, which could become 10% or 20% of my portfolio in the future. 6. Did you prepare a strategy in advance for the competition, or did everything happen more naturally? - Yes, if you have a strategy in mind, everything becomes easier to manage. To turn 0.1 ETH into Glory, I chose to bet on a portfolio of Streamers (CCM) in Base through Retake. I identified that the narrative was hot, with several streamers starting to do their livestreams adjacent to this, launching new tokens where the initial market cap is only $4,000, thus allowing me to make exponential profits if I managed to be one of the first in the orderbook. 7. What do you think about Higher’s fee rebate system - especially the x2 fee rebates on losing trades? - Everything works very well and is easy to understand with an intuitive interface. I confess that I don't worry about fees as long as I can perform well and feel comfortable with the platform execution. I always know that I have some ETH to claim after some trades on Higher, but I haven't yet delved into these calculations to determine if I'm really saving less than on other platforms. I know that I already save more on Higher than on the biggest platforms on the market like Uniswap, but I still need to study this further. As I have little capital, I don't worry so much, but it seems to be a win-win for both sides! 8. Is there anything else you’d like to share? - I'd like to congratulate you for doing this work, which I consider genuine, and for all your dedication to responding promptly when we need support across different platforms, as well as for always being eager for feedback!
