Sad news to share - - George Lancaster, one of the legnedary coaches in Virginia High School Basketball history, has passed away at the age of 80, @VaPrepsRivals has learned.
Lancaster 726 wins are fifth most in VHSL history. He amassed 549 of them over 37 years at Highland Springs, where he guided the Springers to state titles in 2003 and 2007.
Rest in Peace to a true pioneer and class act!
