For years, Nigerians have been told to protect themselves from inflation by buying USDT.
It's good advice.
But I think we've been asking the wrong question.
Instead of asking, "How do I protect my money?" maybe we should be asking:
"Can my USDT do more than just sit there protecting it?"
That question led me down a rabbit hole I wasn't expecting... and completely changed how I think about stablecoins.

We've spent years thinking of USDT as something you hold.
I think the next chapter is learning how to use it without giving it up.

How do you solve an emergency when all your money is in USDT?
That was the question staring back at me at 2 AM.
