Just found a trailer scene from the very first version of FredBear's Fright, which was made exactly 1 year prior to the game's release. (August 8th, 2016)
Just found this ugly thing in the FredBear's Fright files. I believe it was what prototype previously looked like before running to your office, but was changed to a Mousiki mask because of Fright.
So... I had just finished modelling my favorite character design for a game. Then I tried merging parts of it to another file and I lost the character in the process, since I began deleting parts while in the character's file. (AAAAAAAHHHH)
Pretty much; it makes most sense to me that in-universe the character is supposed to have a texture that emulates the look of fur (low-budget painted rubbery-foam material), not that they actually have fur attached to their suit parts. This way Scott can still call it "fur"
... So to those who are planning to work/ are working on games, make sure they get well tested by others before release. (Even if you miss the target release date!)
Looking back, I've noticed that the shaky releases of my previous games have been a result of the lack in small-group demos of the games. The first release of a game seems to be the most important part of how people will end up viewing your game. ...
