I'm with all that unorthodox stuff when it comes to music.. unorthodox song formats, recording and mixing techniques, work locations, etc. learn all the rules to unlearn them. I don't mind compromising certain things for creativity or for "a vibe"๐๐๐ถ

I would hope one day recording engineers get just as much respect as a mix engineer. All the sonic and creative elements come from the recording process. They're the ones who interact with the artist the most and bounce ideas off each other.

It would be cool if there was a producer tag index or online log where you can search producers by their tag (or what ever info you know) and find their producer name, social media, contact info, etc.

In about a year or so I don't think Ima work with anybody. Just want to travel the world, learn other cultures music, maybe go back to engineering school, learn Spanish, dance, sit under other engineers, try to figure out this new recording/mixing technique idea I have, etc.

Sometimes your producer tag is the reason a beat doesn't get selected by the artist - don't have it so loud or long
Long intros also doesn't help
Put your name in the title of all the beats you make. I've seen it happen before where ppl can't use a beat bc they dk who made it

Y'all do whatever you want when you record. I've recorded some of the biggest artists who break all the rules. No headphones, mics you wouldn't even think you should use to record with, untreated rooms... all that.
