The most challenging part of my job is creating scalable interfaces that everyone can use and modify. It takes some time but I'm happy with the output so far.
Watch how easy it is to create any kind of input in seconds using @alignui :
AlignUI Code Library is live! 💥
40+ free base components, 100+ premium blocks and sector-specific templates with Figma file manually synced with code.
Built for React, styled with TailwindCSS.
w / @alignui
Tailwind wraps CSS variables in var(...) when used as arbitrary values. But in some cases like houdini transitions, it shouldn't be wrapped. I discovered that an _ underscore does the trick.
⏰ Only 4 days left until the launch of @alignui code library!
We are excited to share the important details about our Figma file that is manually synchronized with our code library. Because details are what make us who we are.
Let's take a closer look at our Figma file 👇

I'm thinking about not making our Banner a component since it's typically used only a few times across the site. It seems more practical to just copy-paste the specific Banner you need. Do you think the same?

The Slider component joins our free code library! 🎚️
Value and range selection made easy, now available @alignui
Built for @react , styled with @tailwindcss
Wow! Thanks a lot for sharing. I'm checking it out and I came across the only: selector in the Button component. Didn't even know it exist in tailwind. Will definitely make use of it ❤️
I'm finally launching Composed UI on Product Hunt!
It's a great starter pack for your tailwindcss projects. Easily pick out just what you need and write your own javascript. And it's completely free!
It would be a dream if I could make it into the top 3. Please head over to PH and upvote if you can :)

yep. I'm not creating a UI library from scratch. No need to reinvent the wheel. We will provide components built with popular headless libraries. like Radix, Tanstack etc. So you can easily copy-paste into your project. Exactly like shadcn.
I'll share more insights as we progress. But I will stick with WAI-ARIA standards.
You're right, 'Segmented Control' would be a better name here. designsystems.surf/component…
I'm about to reach Edge Request limit with mostly static websites 😢 I'm migrating to Cloudflare as much as possible. Is there any key points to optimize? Because Vercel's billing goes wild after the free tier.
I'd still prefer long class chain repetitions instead. Because;
- Brings a new syntax to learn.
- "selecting and editing every repeated variant chain" is not a big deal.
- Causes CSS bloating. Brandon pointed this out but still most of people don't have a clue about it.
- It's negotiable that it has a cleaner syntax.
- I think it's a rare use case. If classes become too long and repetitive, I'd opt for CSS `@apply` instead.
Multi for Tailwind CSS 🦋👀
Variant-grouped utilities. (This is not a drill 🚨)
tailwindcss-multi provides a method for applying multiple utilities simultaneously, eliminating the need to repeat lengthy variant chains.
