The police just apprehended 4 suspects in my immediate neighborhood. They were arrested for carjacking. However, they also chased my neighbor's daughter down her back steps. Fortunately, she got into her house and locked the door. Thank you, @DCPoliceDept for making the arrest.

Common sense prevails. I am proud to have fought against these misconceived bike lanes from the very beginning. They never made any sense. Connecticut Ave is not flowing very well now but it would have been a parking lot. Hopefully, DDOTs new plans will bring it back to life.

I like @MatthewFrumin, the person, but his stance on protected bikes lanes for Connecticut Ave, as shown in his newsletter, is horrible. Most protected bike lanes in DC suck. Few use them. Vision zero is a joke and @WABADC, mostly DCGOV financed, is a destroyer of common sense.

The system they have in Alaska now would work great in DC. They take the top 4 from a FULLY OPEN primary & then they use Ranked Choice Voting in the general election. Ms. Pinto & others on the @councilofdc should legislate for that system to be implemented in the District.
