Two years ago we published a 59 minute podcast about sport.
We had two rules.
1. All episodes must be under an hour.
2. It must be completely sport related.
We stuck to those rules & that explains our success.
As the dust settles on the first @distantpod tour can we say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came to the shows. Gobsmacked that so many people came to see us (not) talk about sport. Your support means the world to us - Elis, Mike & Steff.
Art @davedoodlemoose 💜💛
Thanks so much everyone who made the inaugural Distant Pod live stream last night. You really are the best fans a (loosely based) sports podcast could wish for. If you couldn't make it last night the stream is available to buy and watch until 8pm Tuesday 👇link.dice.fm/hYu00orKfdb
Hi Rob - do you fancy helping us fund Defibrillators at football clubs around Wales? We’re working with the FAW and Save A Life Cymru - we’d love your support too.

We know it’s been a rough 18 months for a lot of people. We’d like to give someone who is having a tough time a pair of free tickets to each of the @distantpod shows in London at the weekend. We’ll pick a random winner on Friday lunchtime from anyone who replies/retweets to this
It’s Episode 100 tomorrow.
Huge thanks to @davedoodlemoose for all the illustrations over the past two years.
Here are the very best bits of the first 99 episodes

Blown away by all your love across the month of October. You’re a good bunch.
Here’s a thread of our best moments from this month, let us know your favourite:
Feb 11th 2022. Motorpoint Arena Cardiff. The Socially Distant Sports Bar Live - Six Nations Special. Tix on general sale 10am Tuesday 28 September. Patreons pre- sale 10am Monday 27 September.
Hello and a huge thank you to all our new Patreons who've come on board in the last 24 hours. Yesterday was slightly overwhelming 🥲 (Hello and no thanks to all the free loaders).

Thanks @DoodleMooseIRL for the art
At Admiral HQ we are often sat debating, discussing, and deliberating the best kits or the most iconic sporting moment. Unfortunately, whilst all working separately in our respective homes the sporting badinage dissipated.
Huge thanks to @asoundreaction for taking the time to write this about the Pod in @WalesOnline today.
A rare piece of promo where we actually remember to talk about the pod and tell people the name of the pod.
This is @gavinfitzjohn
He played the @principalitysta last night with @stereophonics
He played Knebworth with Paolo Nutini a few weeks ago
AND he did the theme to Michael Owen’s Movie Club for us
😂🤣 watching @NewyddionS4C seeing a guy slip on his ass live outside of a pub trying to celebrate a Cymru win 🏴 @Welshwhippet you at the pub again?
It was a bloody good month for Socially Distant!
With 2 brilliant guest episodes and countless laughs, we thought we’d share our top moments from May.
Get stuck into this thread and tell us your favourite👇

We've linked up with coffee roasters Fat Whites to make 3 very different bags of coffee from the same beans.
All of the profits from these go towards our campaign to get more defibrillators in locked accessible cabinets around the country.
