Felt like a good time to release these thoughts given the latest posts by @frankdegods and @DeGodsNFT
I was part of the first wave of contributors before the discord was reorganized and more people were invited in. I'm still there, but been tied up lately.
Anyway, I had the pleasure of diving in with the product & engineer teams to provide feedback on detox
From jumping on a call with Frankie and the devs to writing up UX and product feedback docs, to writing up feedback on the figmas, discussing product value, to giving UX sprints methodologies as suggestions, to just chatting through ideas ...
what really came back at me from all of that with the team was how open, humble, and eager they are to produce the utmost in quality for the community.
The talent on that team is so crazy evident on just how quickly they produce iterations on demos that are 100% QUALITY. They don't take shortcuts on quality not even in demos guys
And yet, with all that talent and experience, they're still so humble, open, and eager and that's what really impressed me about them.
With today's transparent announcement about the company, coupled with what i already know about Frank and this team - I'm more booolish than ever about @DeGodsNFT @y00tsNFT @delabsxyz

that’s how long it took for @HashlingsBTC to deliver on their first batch of mining rigs setup and running.
After a couple months of negotiating favourable prices on rigs, energy, hosting site, software, etc. Selling out the presale, creating the art, and inscribing the traits.
Once the rigs were inbound, they drove from Illinois to Nebraska to get it done.
48 hours they fulfilled more than 90% of nft projects have fulfilled in years.
Each hashling that’s coupled with a rig will mine btc every single day and goes into the owners wallet until the mining operation is flipped at a profit for ALL the owners of the rigs. First season will complete at that point.
Every web 3 project has an inherent relationship between founders and communities.
Vision (Promises) by founders
Buy in (blockchain asset) by community
This relationship’s health is determined by deliverables.
Win-win.
Everything comes down to this.
You can’t expect trust without meaningful deliverables. Mutual wins.
I hope I’m not wrong about these guys, but up until now, they’ve delivered every step quickly and at a high level of quality.
Extreme ownership is something I admire and they’re proving they live it and not just preach it.
In a humble blue collar type of way, they just quietly showed us what proof of work looks like irl and they did it in 48 hours.

Today @HashlingsBTC will launch their mining product.
It’s supposed to be a dashboard ui that will allow the user to use their hashling ordinal in conjunction with their pickaxe ordinal to mine btc.
The features that have been mentioned by the team are:
- ability to pay the monthly power bill with fiat or btc
- choose the wallet where the mined btc will be deposited to
My expectations on the quality of mvp are low just from the transparency that they’ve had with the community on what their initial goals are on rollout.
It’s a super lean team and if they’re able to get this product to work without glitches that would be a start. 🤞🏽
On the other hand the irl mining operation couldn’t be better positioned and in better hands with @asicsandapes and his experienced background. Not to mention the fantastic art by @DemonZodd
It’s no secret, I own a bag of hashlings and I’m a part of the community so I’m rooting for them.
TBH, the team seems to me the type that will learn, adjust, and get better as they go.
