"Jumping" in GD is literally just like hopping into aim labs and trying to do the hardest possible map for a newcomer or doing a rlly hard edit parkour in fortnite - u learn how to do that specific action (or level) and nothing else, not building any actual skill that helps u

I really wanna take my time and just say that this level is genuinely so incredibly well made in terms of how it resembles Zodiac and expands on it to make it its own thing. Playing/Looking through this was super cool and Im really glad this level came out the way it is (1/2)

I've been playing a lot of entries recently and almost all of them have such subpar gameplay with really poor decisions that leave me baffled. I hope people realize that gameplay is also very important for immersion as deco
gp choices in most of the space gauntlet entires ive seen is an afterthought. especially disappointing considering how these levels feature some of the greatest decoration the game has ever seen so far, yet they feel cornered to spoonfeed gameplay without taking any risk

Indicators in GD levels are a result of conflicting ideas and usually are only used as a bandaid fix, instead of fixing the root issues (Unreadable gameplay structuring, incompatible gameplay/deco combination) and severely take down the enjoyment of actually reading a level

Watching something in slowmo barely ever actually matters for a level and every video platform has a low speed option as well it just seems redundant 😭
