Just put two kids to bed singing the most basic version of “Jesus Loves Me” ever. And as I walked out, I wondered why in the hell I care if some blogger questions my discography? I got two damn #1’s. But that version of “Jesus Loves Me”, is the biggest hit I’ll ever have! 🙏🏼

After Hawaii this week, I will have played a show in every state. And with exception of Hawaii, and Alaska, I’ve played at least two shows in every state. Pretty remarkable for a kid from SE Missouri, who didn’t see the ocean till he was 21!

I’m sorry. I can’t like the Rams. A Missouri boy bought the team in LA, moved them to Missouri, won a SB, and then moved em back to LA. What a loser. I mean. He’s super rich and successful, but in all likelihood has no real friends!

P.S. Wasn’t a father till 36. 5 years later I have 3 kids. Always been obsessed with doing things young, yet biggest blessings in my life have come much later than I had wanted. It’s cliche as poop, but it’s so true, good things come to those who wait! Back to baseball!

One thing I don’t question, is what kinda Momma my kids have. I just sat down to give Lawson a bath, and asked “what do you want to talk about”? Kid didn’t miss a beat. Said “Jesus”!

I sat by Lou Brock two days on the bench in @Cardinals dugout during Spring Training. There were several people in dugout not with team, friends of the manager at the time. He literally was the nicest, and kindest man. Answered every question, didn’t matter who you were!
