Joe Burrow when asked if the win over the Chiefs proved the Bengals aren't "underdogs": "Uh, yeah. I think we beat the second-best team in the AFC. Twice." #WhoDey
Marvin Harrison knocked out of the game with a shot to the head. Called targeting on the field. Would have been an easy TD for OSU. Replay official overrules it, 4-point swing. Final margin: 1 point.
Dwayne Haskins was always pure class every time the OSU media spoke with him. Great young man. #RIP to one of the best young men and QBs in Ohio State history. So damn sad.
Speaking of Ohio State football, get ready for this: The same people who voted OSU would be third place in the B1G East, will vote that Ryan Day is not B1G COY because OSU is too stacked. So, you didn't do your homework before the season started? Or what?
The Peach Bowl has added 2K standing room only "seats" to Mercedes-Benz Stadium due to extreme demand. Commish says OSU-UGA will outdraw when the Super Bowl was held there. Also said OSU sold out its allotment of tickets in 2 days, which he says is a Peach Bowl record.
Ryan Day does not think he would be Ohio State's head coach right now if not for Dwayne Haskins and Dwayne's 2018 season. This is a very emotional press conference as you can imagine.
Non-stop "Urban Meyer should be fired" hot takes for 4 days straight last week. Courtney Smith's mom basically tells a reporter that her daughter is lying. (Pretty big bombshell if true!) Crickets from the same hot take artists.
Just when it looked like the B1G was getting its act together, it is once again on the verge of the biggest disaster in sports history. If ACC, Big 12, SEC play and finish season (plus NFL, high schools) and the B1G is sitting at home, it will be the ultimate clown show.
CliffsNotes version (from what I've been told): Ohio State's BoT wants to reinstate Urban Meyer immediately. University president Michael Drake is balking at that; wants Meyer to serve a suspension. Meyer refuses to serve suspension since he thinks he did nothing wrong. #Buckeyes
ESPN's FPI gives Ohio State a 13 percent chance of winning the Big Ten East; and gives Michigan a 36 percent chance. Might want to plug those computers back in, boys.
Dabo giving the #Buckeyes a huge compliment if you think about it. He's basically saying he doesn't want to play Ohio State and would have a better chance of beating Florida or A&M. Good on Dabo. Appreciate the love.
Oklahoma has the No. 1 total offense in the country. Ohio State has the No. 2 total offense. Ohio State has the No. 67 total defense. Oklahoma has the No. 111 total defense. #CFP
It is astonishing that any sports reporter would have a problem with Ryan Day's excellent statement from yesterday. It's even more bizarre that some reporters are basically making fun of him for wanting to play. (While saying nothing about the SEC, ACC, Big 12 all playing.)
Meyer reported the 2015 incident to Gene Smith, plus the police were involved the entire way. Those who tarred and feathered Urban Meyer are going to be feasting on some serious crow.
What's even more amazing about Dwayne Haskins in '18 at OSU is he accomplished his record-breaking year (4,831 yards, 70% comp, 50 TDs, 8 INTs) amid all the turmoil around the program with the Urban stuff. The defense was also terrible that year. They went 13-1, won B1G & Rose.
I still can't believe what we saw from J.T. Tuimoloau today. That might have been the best game from a defensive player in Ohio State history. And I do not say that lightly. It's at the very least in the discussion.
Not even joking. I bet Sean Payton would want this job. Does Katie Blackburn have the guts to fire Zac and bring a real coach for Burrow and Co.? #Bengals
Best of luck to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. First and foremost; great young man. Ask anyone who knows him. Secondly, had the best game by a WR in the history of all bowl games last year (and a great year overall). Third: Tried to come back 2x this year when some were saying not to. Stud.
Think about this: Al Washington turned down hundreds of thousands of dollars to stay at Ohio State in a lesser role than the one he would have had at Tennessee. You catch that? Less money, lesser role, still a Buckeye. You think these coaches love working for @ryandaytime? Yessir
This is wild from the statistics department:
TreVeyon Henderson -- Rushing yards this season: 925.
Quinshon Judkins -- Rushing yards this season: 924.
TreVeyon Henderson -- Career rushing yards: 3,670.
Quinshon Judkins -- Career rushing yards: 3,649.

Burrow should just call his own plays, Peyton Manning style. Notice the best plays in the playoffs last year was Burrow audibling? Burrow knows more about football than Zac Taylor could ever hope to know.
Kudos to Purdue head coach Ryan Walters when asked about cheating "allegations" at Michigan. "The crazy thing is they're not even allegations. They did it. We have proof."
#BoilerUp
Joel Klatt: "And this is why you schedule conference games before your rivalry games."
Gus Johnson: "Is that a shot at the SEC?"
Klatt: "Absolutely."

There is so much criticism to go around. I don't get the criticism of Stroud. He was throwing pinpoint passes as usual. Had a nice 5-yard run. Does he need to call plays and decide when to go for it on 4th down too?
Amid all the shady calls, almost forgot the phantom intentional grounding on Burrow. Rewatch it. Perine is definitely in the area. That's a shady official looking to make a call. This lead official has some 'splainin to do. (Wait, he works for Goodell, no he doesn't.)
Rob Stone tries to troll Urban Meyer with a "Bob Stoops is coming for you job, Meyer." Urban, without hesitation: "I hear Rece Davis is looking for your job."
Wow, now Harbaugh is basically accusing kids who say they have mental illness of lying? Controversy really follows Harbaugh around. The two DUIs. The way he left the 49ers. The embarrassing losses to Ohio State.
Truth is, 2002 national title game never should have went to OT. Gamble was in bounds on OSU's last possession of regulation. Best team won. Keep cryin. #Buckeyes
Ryan Day is taking zero credit for helping Harry Miller; he's just extremely proud of Harry. (Day is being humble. Him creating a culture where tough, macho football players feel comfortable speaking out about mental health issues is awesome.)
Has anyone checked in on Carson Palmer to get his thoughts on the #Bengals' offseason? Because he was trying to go around and tell anyone who would listen Super Bowl week that the Bengals wouldn't spend enough in free agency on their O-line. #sosalty
Imagine you are a big-time college football head coach. Now imagine being dumb enough to believe there is some kid on your sidelines talking to your offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator *during games* and you know nothing about it.
Also, can anyone explain the logic of the NFL saying Chiefs-Bills would be played at a neutral site, but Bengals-Bills is not played at a neutral site? Would love to hear the rationale there. Either don't do neutral sites at all, or do them fairly. This would confuse Goodell.
CJ Stroud update: "Best thing that happened to Texans' franchise was us beating Colts last game, last year," TE Brevin Jordan told ESPN. "We drafted the right guy. Man, he's a leader. He's a phenomenal player and a phenomenal guy with God-given talent. Dude, he's unbelievable."
I remember once when Kellen Winslow Sr. *tried* to clown Tress. Was a bit after OSU beat Miami for the natty. Winslow was being a dick and asked "Where can I get one of those sweater vests?"
Tress: "If you actually start hitting the gym, maybe you can borrow one of mine."
Would like to call out Herbstreit and how insanely weird it is that he’s spent the last 10 minutes laying into Ohio State fans for being disgruntled with Day.
I’ve never heard something this unprofessional.
