I love the
#Chia community more than any community I've ever been a part of. I remember when I first heard about Bitcoin, and I was a big believer in it, but I was super young and had no money. In 2014 I graduated High School and thought about taking out a $10,000 loan and dump it all into
#BTC . At the time I knew it was most likely a bad idea because I would have to pay on it monthly and who knows if it would ever go up even though I believed in it so much. So, I didn't do it and just watched the chart go up buying $20 here and there, never really fomoing much money into it. I always kicked myself for that. Fast forward to 2021 and I was reading an article on RobinHood about how there's is starting to be a Hard Drive shortage caused by a new crypto...
@Chia_project . I stopped and went home to read the green paper and watch every single YouTube video on chia. After reading and learning about Chia I got the same feelings I had when I first heard about Bitcoin but this time, I wouldn't let myself get in the way of me following what I felt was right. I didn't have much $$$ so I went on amazon and bought 1x 8tb HDD and bought everything I would need for a plotter/farmer according to
@JM 's papers he wrote up on the Chia Wiki. At some point I messaged JM on Keybase and he actually responded back and it blew my mind. One I never was a computer person. I bought and built my first computer because of Chia. JM helped me along with google understand how to use the CLI. Truly if it wasn't for JM helping me figure all this out, I don't think I would be this far along. Thank you, JM,
@bramcohen @hoffmang and everyone else in the community and behind the scenes for helping create this amazing blockchain and community!
