it has been 1,416 days since i started boywithuke. yet, i remember releasing my first songs with such vivid detail you’d need a politician to convince me it didn’t happen yesterday.
throughout all these years, we’ve created so many memories. so many moments. so many feelings i had never felt before.
you made me feel so spectacular. you gave me so much love. the kind of unconditional love reserved for family and for friends. you helped me become a better person. you gave me stability. you saved me. and for that i am eternally grateful.
recently however, i’ve realized that i have changed. my values, my desires, and most importantly my music. i feel like i can’t go back to the way things were, and i believe this is a good thing. i don’t want to chase what has been. i want to move forward. i want to let go.
and so with great joy, i am incredibly proud to announce that my next project will be my last project as BoyWithUke.
