Hi everyone, Unfortunately, I have made the decision to step down from @YFPGamingLive and take a break from management/coaching for the sake of my mental health. I encourage everyone to read this post in full, as I will be making some important points below that anyone pursuing a career in esports should read. Mental health is not a joke. Take it seriously, and don't ignore it. This is a mistake I made. I worked hard to get myself to a better point than I was before, and I let myself slip back into old habits and bring myself right back to square one. Gaming is a coping mechanism for a lot of people. It is for me too. That's okay, because most people just find gaming fun. This is why a lot of people get into esports in the first place. Where it gets dangerous is when what you used to have as a fun way to cope with your own stress and anxiety, becomes a source of your problems. How do you cope with the problem when your coping mechanism is the source? I ignored my own signs for too long, and I let myself get to this point. I'm disappointed in myself, and I am not happy with my own decisions. That being said, I am nowhere near being done. I set a high bar for myself in terms of personal expectations, and I fell below them. But I still have the drive to get better, and I will be using this break to prepare myself to come back in full form and peak efficiency. I will be taking a break until I have met my own expectations as an individual, and then when I am ready I will return. Thank you to YFP and @neemamahmoodi, who took a chance on me 13 months ago with little to no prior experience, and allowed me to develop both our players and our brand. I cannot state how fucking grateful I am for Neema and the opportunities he has provided me. He made me feel like I had a family here, and I will be forever thankful for what he has done. Thank you to the players who I worked with over this time, the OG YFP White who picked me up and allowed me to shape them into who they are now, the YFP REMIX and X squads I had the pleasure of working with, the staff and CCs I had the pleasure of meeting, and the boys on the main roster who helped me feel at home at our LAN trips. I love all of you and I promise I will see you all again. In the mean time I will be pugging tournaments with friends, and taking extra time to explore myself and where I need to improve. See you all soon. I promise I will be back <3

quick little life update for the tl because its been awhile I quit my job yesterday. I am taking a leap of faith, and I am fully committing myself to this industry. I have been waiting for the opportunity to build something I truly believe in, and I think I finally have a shot. I'll be truly committing myself to full time esports for the first time in my life. I am nervous, and I am scared that things may not work out, but I would rather take the risk and fail so I can atleast say "I tried." On that note, big things coming in September 2024 :) I'll be posting some teasers for whatever we are working on as we get closer to September.
