Looks like a glitch to me.

We built CoinGecko for 11 years and did not charge for token listings.
The market’s willingness to pay $300 to add metadata was one of the more surprising parts of this cycle for me. That said, we do not believe this is a sustainable biz model and eventually the market will question this practice.
We opted to not follow this model but chose to launch a priority support method last year instead with a free option always there for less urgent requests. We believe this is a more sustainable, community friendly option and hope with time, we will be proven right.

I’ve been shilling @moonbirds to my CoinGecko team in the office since it was 0.7 ETH after @spencer took over the project. I told my team that my first price target is 2.5 ETH, which is the mint price.
This OG NFT project has a lot of potential and Spencer is the right leader to show Moonbirds the love it deserves after multiple failures from previous leadership. This is going to be one of the best community takeover of an NFT project, on par with Pudgy Penguins.
Spencer is the largest Pudgy Penguins NFT holder at one point and he spends a lot of time with Luca. In my opinion, Spencer will just run the same Pudgy playbook and he’s starting from a very low base.
At its peak, Moonbirds was close to 40 ETH. If we believe that NFT will make a big comeback and Spencer will try to outperform its previous ATH then Moonbirds will have a lot of potential even from here.
My next price target is 10 ETH and we shall see how high this can go. Moonbirds does not have a token yet so once the team start teasing a token, this will go so so so much higher.
I don’t speak to the Moonbirds team often so I’ve no insider info. All the above is just my pure left curve speculation so let’s see if I’m right at the end of the year. Do your own research and take your own risk. Don’t trust anything you read on X.

6/ FWIW, I don't think we are at the bottom yet coz conferences are still full, crypto parties are still extravagant, still seeing excesses amongst teams, macro environment is still weak. The layoffs have started but not widespread yet. Stay strong and manage your positions well.

Can you spot the scam in the email below? Notice how there is no dot in the i in coingecko.com. Scammers have registered special characters representing crypto domains and it is very hard to spot. This is a scam email - don't fall for it
