My mom passed away when I was 15 from various cancers and heart issues, and was very sick most of my life.
Well, 5 mins ago my sister emailed me a voicemail from my mom that she had saved to her PC.
I opened the file immediately and listened.
After the voicemail finished, I just kinda sat still for a bit, feeling all kinds of emotions.
Shit, even writing this tweet is making me pretty emotional right now, I won’t lie haha.
But yeah needless to say, it was just a surreal feeling hearing my mom’s voice again after 18 years.
I needed that.

Kick came out and said they’d offer streamers a 95/5 split, and people went absolutely insane.
To me, seeing that reaction made it pretty evident many Twitch streamers have become conditioned to believe a 50/50 split was acceptable due to YEARS of being screwed over by Twitch, but that split was never fair. It wasn’t even CLOSE to being fair. People just got used to it.
Now Kick let’s you do the SAME amount of work, but you get paid almost TWICE as much. That’s potentially life-changing for millions of people.
