A lot of this stuff does suck for the competitive scene, but there's a lot of stuff people are saying that just isn't true. Below I will go over every point above in detail.

At LTC they talked shit about me behind my back, both about in-game stuff and my irl self/appearance. They avoided mutual friends just because of their association with me. They lied constantly, to almost everyone, about their intentions with the team.

Speaking of Nico, recently he has become probably one of the worst teammates Iโve ever had to play with. Heโs an egomaniac and can never take a single ounce of criticism without blaming everyone else on his team. Playing with him at LTC was a miserable experience.

My hope is that major LAN events, like GenX, LTC, and Riptide will have enough financial backing to obtain licenses from Nintendo. This also depends on Nintendo being willing to hand out licenses, but we will have to wait and see about that.

I donโt have much to say about Crim, I probably wouldnโt even be upset at him if he didnโt go along with everything Nico would say/do. He has since apologized for lying to me, which I canโt really forgive him for, but I can at least respect him for saying something eventually.

I do need to say that it was mostly Nico doing the things above. He was mostly the one (to my knowledge) making fun of me behind my back, usually talking to Crim. But I mention both of them because Crim did go along with everything Nico said/did without telling me anything.

Now, itโs already a bit shitty to plan to leave the team in secret for weeks. As friends I would have hoped that they would have at least told me before LTC. But Iโm not just upset about those two leaving. What I am upset about is their behavior before/during LTC.

What this affects the most is our large online tournaments, including majors, Low Ink, and more. These must be capped at 300 players (75 teams of 4, 60 teams of 5) per day. Most weekleys the size of Swim or Sink or smaller shouldn't be affected by this limit.

Overall, these extra restrictions do suck for the scene, but it shouldn't be the end of competitive Splatoon. The tournaments which are most affected will be our large online tournaments, so we will have to wait and see how they will manage after these restrictions.

After 8 months of Splatoon 2 competitive and many Low Ink tournaments, I've finally made it. I've accomplished my goal of becoming a Low Ink winner! I'm very proud of how far @RedSunSpl and I have come, and I'm excited for our future in competitive.
