bro came nearly last place in a tourney out of 50 teams and is somehow…blaming trans people?
i see so many tweets saying that women are okay with this… we aren’t, but we are silenced by the companies who run these tournaments so we can’t say anything directly without punishment. throughout the years i have spoken to *WELL* over half (75ish) of the girls who competed yesterday and they have explicitly shared my opinion
thankfully i have clarification that i am (and other girls are) allowed to post as many vague tweets as we would like without punishment but if anyone were to talk about the elephant in the room we would be “ruled on” AKA suspended for a tournament or a year. the fact that women can lose out on an opportunity to compete for over $300,000 because of an opinion like this is absolutely disgusting and speaks volumes about what these companies actually stand for
***even if you disagree you should still allow women’s voices to be heard in a respectful manner without being punished, ESPECIALLY on a topic like this that directly impacts us***
what’s even more upsetting but expected is that i have confirmation nothing will change next year, so i would recommend not tuning into this. thank you to the guys and viewers speaking up for us because we can’t. women’s esports across all games is a joke and it isn’t because we aren’t as good as the pros……….
