WONDERFUL to see the grand master in fine fettle channelling William Hartnell and besties with Louise Jameson almost 50 years after they starred - and sparred! - together on screen! photographed today by Olly Mc at Tom’s MBE investiture…
A very special Somewhere in Time: 52 years ago, 11.9 million people tuned in for Bill's final performance as the Doctor in episode four of The Three Doctors. This kind of viewing figure hadn't been seen since Bill's time on the program and wouldn't be seen again for some time.
Today I pay tribute to the greatest most iconic doors in Sci Fi.
The original Tardis interior doors which lasted from 1963 till 1989 before they went to the great junk yard in the sky.
Sad to hear of the death of Maurice Roëves. He was a charming man with roles in Doctor Who and Tutti Frutti, of which he was very proud. He was 83 and lived his life well.
"William Hartnell"without doubt is largely responsible for the early success of Dr who without him making it a huge success and creating the character it would have fizzled out.The original beware of imitations.
Doctor Who officially on hiatus again for the first time in 36 years, with the series no longer scheduled for production and waiting to be picked up again. As in 1989, no one knows if or when it will return. Long live The Wilderness Years II!
Marking the 115th anniversary of the birth of undisputed first incarnation of the Doctor, William Hartnell.
Never forgotten. Always respected and appreciated.
Here visiting a Children's hospital ward, during his tenure in the TARDIS.

Doctor Who: once inclusive, appointment TV for the family has become a nasty, farcical, trashy, dumbed down ‘message of the week’ slapstick panto for the brain dead which, in no uncertain terms, tells straight white males to stay away.
"Tom Baker" is a legend, and absolutely sums up everything great about the character of "Doctor who".
Verity Lambert said of Tom he was the most faithful to the concept set out in 1963.
It's with great sadness to announce that actress Mary Peach has passed away last month. She was 90-years-old.
She appeared as Astrid Ferrier in The Enemy of the World. I was delighted to meet her and discuss that shows recovery which delighted her no end.
References to “male toxicity” and “incels” in the first episode of the first non-white lead cast of Doctor Who is a cheap, nasty, ideological pot shot at all white males who bother to watch this peurile garbage on Saturday. Series 15 is dead on arrival.
A very special Somewhere in Time: 50 years ago, Bill made his triumphant return to the program as the Earliest made his younger selves work together to find the source of the attack against Earth and against the Tine Lords. 9.6 million viewers tuned in.
November 23rd I shall be celebrating an "Unearthly child"and the Man who made "Doctor who"a hit with enduring global success.Bill set the mould and created a wonderful mysterious secretive enigmatic Doctor few have bettered.
Very sad news indeed "Terrance Dicks"has died his contribution to Dr Who has been immeasurable.steering the programme to prolific heights and bringing in without doubt some of the best writers to ever work on the show. His own scripts were magic and his target dr who books.
So all the jodie bots are up in arms and angry because I have pointed out the show is failing.Ratings globally at an all time low merchandise for this era not selling.
And it's all because i am not being nice and spreading positivity.

A YEAR ago today. Never forget why chief Russell T. Davies returned to Doctor Who — and it was never to restore it to its former greatness.
Where, exactly, is your outrage that your lifelong favourite TV series has been sacrificed on the altar of ID politics
Remembering Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001), the first musician to bring Ron Grainer's Doctor Who theme music to life, on the nineteenth anniversary of her passing.
THIS is the picture that, for me, painted a thousand words, almost from day one. Two narcissists as self-absorbed and repellant as these two were never going to gel and were only ever destined to create total and utter carnage together.
I recieved Very sad news yesterday with the passing of Graham strong.
A true gentleman and legend thank you for your immense contribution to the lost history of Doctor Who R.I.P
Back on this Day in 1966 Patrick Troughton became the second incarnation of "Doctor who" taking over from the great Bill Hartnell in the "Power of the daleks" a six part story.
Doctor Who is a zombie franchise
Just like with the Acolyte, it is the culmination of multiple failures that is the signature on the death certificate.
I had written for ‘Doctor Who’ for some time, and had developed ideas on how I would like the show to change. Basically it was over cluttered with characters – all the UNIT people – and I wanted to get it back into space because it had been stuck on Earth for such a long time.
#HAPPYNEWYEAR Tom Baker, now an honorary MBE in the King's New Year's honours list, awarded for services to television! Of course, in a sane world it would have been a knighthood.
SO you destroyed a 62 year old legacy franchise, heaped shame on your industry and dented Disney’s bottom line, what’ya gonna do? Hang out with the misfits and oddballs on Canal Street, that’s what! After all, that’s how it all started…
Didn’t Doctor Who continue winning viewers of all ages over 6 decades by just being Doctor Who and not pandering to any particular or key demographic? Isn’t that the secret of its success; that it’s timeless and can be enjoyed by all?
