Keeanu Reeves He was abandoned by his father at 3 years old and grew up with 3 different stepfathers. He is dyslexic. His dream of becoming a hockey player was shattered by a serious accident. His daughter died at birth. His wife died in a car accident. His best friend, River Phoenix, died of an overdose. His sister has leukemia. And with everything that has happened, Keanu Reeves never misses an opportunity to help people in need. When he was filming the movie "The Lake House," he overheard the conversation of two costume assistants; One cried because he would lose his house if he did not pay $ 20,000 and on the same day Keanu deposited the necessary amount in the woman's bank account; He also donated stratospheric sums to hospitals. In 2010, on his birthday, Keanu walked into a bakery and bought a brioche with a single candle, ate it in front of the bakery, and offered coffee to people who stopped to talk to him. After winning astronomical sums for the Matrix trilogy, the actor donated more than $ 50 million to the staff who handled the costumes and special effects - the true heroes of the trilogy, as he called them. He also gave a Harley-Davidson to each of the stunt doubles. A total expense of several million dollars. And for many successful films, he has even given up 90% of his salary to allow the production to hire other stars. In 1997 some paparazzi found him walking one morning in the company of a homeless man in Los Angeles, listening to him and sharing his life for a few hours. Most stars when they make a charitable gesture they declare it to all the media. He has never claimed to be doing charity, he simply does it as a matter of moral principles and not to look better in the eyes of others. This man could buy everything, and instead every day he gets up and chooses one thing that cannot be bought: Be a good person.

A father told his daughter, "Congrats on your graduation. I bought you a car a while back. I want you to have it now." Before I give it to you, take it to a car dealer in the city and sell it. See how much they offer.” The girl came back to her father & said: "They offered me $10,000 dollars because it looks very old" Father said: "Ok, now take it to the pawn shop". The girl returns to her father & said: "The pawn shop offered $1,000 dollars because it's a very old car & a lot of work done". The father told her to join a passionate car club with experts & show them the car. The girl drove to the passionate car club. She returned to her father after a few hours & told him, “Some people in the club offered me $100k because its a rare car that's in good condition.” Then the father said, "I wanted to let you know that you are not worth anything if you are not in the right place. If you are not appreciated, do not be angry, that means you are in the wrong place. Don't stay in a place where no one sees your value ." The moral of the story : Know your worth and know where you are valued. A diamond doesn't shine on the bottom of a cave.

My parents were married for 55 years. One morning, my mom was going downstairs to make dad breakfast, she had a heart attack and fell. My father picked her up as best he could and almost dragged her into the truck. At full speed, without respecting traffic lights, he drove her to the hospital. When he arrived, unfortunately she was no longer with us. During the funeral, my father did not speak; his gaze was lost. He hardly cried. That night, his children joined him. In an atmosphere of pain and nostalgia, we remembered beautiful anecdotes and he asked my brother, a theologian, to tell him where Mom would be at that moment. My brother began to talk about life after death and guesses as to how and where she would be. My father listened carefully. Suddenly he asked us to take him to the cemetery. "Dad!" we replied, "it's 11 at night, we can't go to the cemetery right now!" He raised his voice, and with a glazed look he said: "Don't argue with me, please don't argue with the man who just lost his wife of 55 years." There was a moment of respectful silence, we didn't argue anymore. We went to the cemetery. With a flashlight we reached her grave. My father sat down, prayed, and told his children: "It was 55 years... you know? No one can really talk about true love if haven't done life with a person." He paused and wiped his face. "She and I, we were together in the good and in the bad." he continued. "When I changed jobs, we packed up when we sold the house and moved. We shared the joy of seeing our children become parents, together we mourned the departure of loved ones, we prayed together in the waiting room of some hospitals, we supported each other in pain, we hugged one another each day, and we forgave mistakes." And then he paused and added, "Children, that's all gone and I'm happy tonight. Do you know why I'm happy? Because she left before me. She didn't have to go through the agony and pain of burying me, of being left alone after my departure. I will be the one to go through that, and I thank God for that. I love her so much that I wouldn't have liked her to suffer..." When my father finished speaking, my brothers and I had tears streaming down our faces. We hugged him and he comforted us, "It's okay. We can go home. It's been a good day." That night I understood what true love is. It is more than just romanticism and sex, it's two people who stand beside one another, who are committed to one another ... through all the good and bad that life throws at you. Peace in your hearts. 🖊 Author Unknown

I can finally tell the story! About a month ago I got a call from a stranger. Told me his name was @MrBeast, and that he’s kind of a big thing on YouTube. He had seen my TED talk, and he told me that he wanted me to help him restore the sight to thousands of blind people all around the world. Turns out it was all true. He’s got 100 million subscribers, $50 million an annual revenues, and a staff of 60. He’s 24 years old. With the help of Vision Is Priceless, we called every homeless clinic and free clinic for miles around, and found 40 blind people right here at home. With the help of SEE International, we arranged trips to Honduras, Kenya, Ghana, and the Philippines. He wrote a check to pay for it all, and then some. I spent a wonderful day working alongside him today, and sometime next month over 50 million of his subscribers will get to feel the love we shared bringing sight to the blind. Credit - Jeff levenson

Imagine you were born in 1900. When you're 14, World War I begins and ends when you're 18 with 22 million dead. Soon after a global pandemic, the Spanish Flu, appears, killing 50 million people. And you're alive and 20 years old. When you're 29 you survive the global economic crisis that started with the collapse of the New York Stock Exchange, causing inflation, unemployment and famine. When you're 33 years old the nazis come to power. When you're 39, World War II begins and ends when you're 45 years old with a 60 million dead. In the Holocaust 6 million Jews die. When you're 52, the Korean War begins. When you're 64, the Vietnam War begins and ends when you're 75. A child born in 1985 thinks his grandparents have no idea how difficult life is, but they have survived several wars and catastrophes. Today we have all the comforts in a new world, amid a new pandemic. But we complain because we need to wear masks. We complain because we must stay confined to our homes where we have food, electricity, running water, wifi, even Netflix! None of that existed back in the day. But humanity survived those circumstances and never lost their joy of living. A small change in our perspective can generate miracles. We should be thankful that we are alive. We should do everything we need to do to protect and help each other.

“ In Washington DC, at a Metro Station, on a cold January morning in 2007, a man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, approximately 2000 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work. After about four minutes, a middle-aged man noticed that there was a musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds, and then he hurried on to meet his schedule. About four minutes later, the violinist received his first dollar. A woman threw money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk. At six minutes, a young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again. At ten minutes, a three-year old boy stopped, but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head the whole time. This action was repeated by several other children, but every parent - without exception - forced their children to move on quickly. At forty-five minutes: The musician played continuously. Only six people stopped and listened for a short while. About twenty gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32. After one hour: He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed and no one applauded. There was no recognition at all. No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days before, Joshua Bell sold-out a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100 each to sit and listen to him play the same music. This is a true story. Joshua Bell, playing incognito in the D.C. Metro Station, was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people’s priorities. This experiment raised several questions: In a common-place environment, at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty? If so, do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context? One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this: If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made… How many other things are we missing as we rush through life?”

This old lady handed her bank card to the teller and said "I would like to withdraw $10". The teller told her "For withdrawals less than $100, Please use the ATM." The old lady wanted to know why... The teller returned her bank card and irritably told her "These are the rules, please leave if there is no further matter. There is a line of customers behind you." The old lady remained silent for a few seconds and handed her card back to the teller and said "Please help me withdraw all the money I have." The teller was astonished when she checked the account balance. She nodded her head, leaned down and respectfully told her "You have $300,000 in your account but the bank doesn't have that much cash currently. Could you make an appointment and come back again tomorrow.?" The old lady then asked how much she could withdraw immediately. The teller told her any amount up to $3000. "Well please let me have $3000 now." The teller kindly handed $3000 very friendly and with a smile to her. The old lady put $10 in her purse and asked the teller to deposit $2990 back into her account. Malaysia Travelers Can Now Go Cashless in China Using Touch ‘n Go eWallet App Powered by Alipay+ @Alipay has been my primary payment method as a Malaysian living in China for over almost 2 decades. However, with the acceptance of Malaysia's most popular e-wallet, Touch 'n Go, in China, I now have additional payment options that are in my home currency and through a local app. I tested it out at a small street shop and boutique cafe on Yong Kang Road in Shanghai and found the payment experience surprisingly smooth. The Touch 'n Go eWallet's popularity in Malaysia makes it a "must-have" for Malaysian residents, and if it is as easy to use in China as @AntGroup claims, it could become the primary payment method for Malaysians visiting China, especially young people. Alipay+ powers these transactions, making payment easy for foreigners as it is in their home countries, provided they see the Alipay+ logo on the checkout counter. This development will likely encourage more e-wallet users, particularly young people who prefer mobile payments and may not have credit cards, to visit China in the future. This could boost domestic consumption and support economic growth, which is beneficial for China. It is a significant development as I never expected foreign wallets to be accepted in #China so soon. #touchngo #mobilepayment #mobilpay #fintech #alipay #malaysia #alipayplus @AntGroup @AlipayPlus @MyTouchnGo

He also gave a Harley-Davidson to each of the stunt doubles. A total expense of several million dollars. And for many successful films, he has even given up 90% of his salary to allow the production to hire other stars.
