Big personal news: I’ve decided to step away from Jam.
This was a tough call.
Building this company has been one of the most intense and meaningful chapters of my life. My cofounder and I had different views on the path forward, and after a lot of thought, I chose to move on. I’m proud of what we built together and I’ll be cheering on the team as they write the next chapter. I’ll still be on the board and rooting for their success.
Now I’m doing something I haven’t done in a long time: taking real time off. When my daughter was born, I took just five days away from work. This year, I’m making up for lost time. I want to be fully present with her, ski, play soccer and tennis, and enjoy life without a calendar packed to the edge.
I don’t have a grand announcement about what’s next. I’m excited to explore, think, and build again when the time is right.
To everyone who’s been part of this journey, thank you.
