I feel like Vicario hate is getting a bit too normalized, especially in this fanbase. Much of it, like most discussions on social media, is because of recency bias. Read here:

It is very apt that he ends this with "Audere est Facere" because no one, not one person has understood that motto more than him in the last many years at this club.
🚨🎙️ Ange Postecoglou: “When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur my overriding emotion is one of pride.
The opportunity to lead one of England's historic football clubs and bring back the glory it deserves will live with me for a lifetime. Sharing that experience with all those who truly love this club and seeing the impact it had on them is something I will never forget.
That night in Bilbao was the culmination of two years of hard work, dedication and unwavering belief in a dream.
There were many challenges to overcome and plenty of noise that comes with trying to accomplish what many said was not possible.
We have also laid foundations that mean this club should not have to wait 17 more years for their next success. I have enormous faith in this group of players and know there is much more potential and growth in them.
I sincerely want to thank those who are the lifeblood of the club, the supporters. I know there were some difficult times but I always felt that they wanted me to succeed and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push on. It's important to acknowledge the hard working people at Spurs who gave me encouragement on a daily basis.
And finally, I want to thank those who were with me every day for the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now legends of this football club and the brilliant coaches who never once doubted we could do something special.
We are forever connected.
Audere est Facere.”
Not to be that guy (I will be at times), but imagine all these Sonny tributes and compilations ending without a Europa League trophy but with an 8th-placed Premier League finish last season.
It's honestly crazy that they will be allowed to compete in the Premier League next season, considering the quality of the promoted teams in recent seasons.
Winning the Championship should only get you access to compete in it for another season, not get PL football.
Our social media team is absolutely elite, our players know how to party, our manager is a quote machine & most of our fans are sensational. We absolutely NEED to make winning a habit, man!
Kulusevski-Bentancur-Maddison
In the minds of many, this midfield should not work. Too much creativity for it to be balanced and there's a general notion that creative players can't defend.
So that makes this midfield really vulnerable, right? Wrong. (1/1)
It is actually unreal how Bergvall's yellow is being talked about more than one of the clearest red card offences you'll see. Van Dijk was himself crying about the yellow when he shouldn't have been on the pitch himself!
LiVARpool as usual.
#TOTLIV#THFC
Just remembered that even Brandon Austin has played a role in us reaching the UEL final. He played 2 games, both of which we won in the league stage - Hoffenheim, Elfsborg.
Put some respect on Vicario's name, btw.
One of the best shot-stoppers in the game at the moment. Keeps saving us in every match & yet, there are idiots who keep slagging him.
All of our best players publicly stand behind Ange, compliment him, and talk about what a special job he's trying to do here. Vicario, Deki, Romero, etc. etc.
Maybe we should trust them and support the man, eh?
"Over the last years Arsenal have been missing something." 👀
"I know we have a good chance to beat them tomorrow." 🔥
Fighting talk from Ivan Perisic as the former Spurs player prepares for PSV vs Arsenal in the Champions League tomorrow night 🏆
Yves Bissouma is set to join Galatasaray.
Negotiations at final stage between #Tottenham and Gala for the transfer of the midfielder.
Personal terms already agreed.
[@FabriceHawkins] 🥇
Wait, Chelsea lost against Brighton. They also lost against Ipswich and dropped points against Everton & Palace no?
They also struggle in away games?
How is that possible? I thought only "naive" Ange did that and not "tactical genius" Enzo.
🔵🟣 Aston Villa have won 4 matches in a row!
✅ 1-0 win vs Bologna
✅ 3-1 win vs Fulham
✅ 2-0 win vs Feyenoord
✅ 2-1 win vs Burnley
Next 4 matches: Tottenham (A), Go Ahead Eagles (A), Man City (H), Liverpool (A).
Dominic Solanke is an absolute beast btw.
I know strikers are measured by goals, as they should, but the man is unreal. Pressing, ball control, hold-up & link-up play, all so impressive.
It'll only get better as he gels more with the teammates & Odobert returns.
#THFC
Btw, Ange said before the match that Davies might not last the entire game. He had to because Dragusin got injured.
Now, if Dragusin misses the next game and Cuti & VDV don't return soon, Davies will again be at injury risk. This is how the injury crisis escalates.
Anything less than a Top 4 finish with deep runs in at least 2 cup competitions, WINNING at least one, in the 2025-26 season is an objective failure for whoever comes in next.
Let's see.
No matter how much the non-footballing people shout, this is what Ange will be remembered for at Spurs. The change, the excitement, the triumph, and more than anything, the personification of Audere Est Facere.
An absolute great! 🤍
After listening to Vicario, Micky, Johnson & Udogie's interviews from today, the part where Ange says, "I keep telling y'all, this is the group of players that will do it" is so significant. You can see the belief.
Just please turn up on the day. 🙏
#THFC have been down to 10 men three times under Ange and have won all three games.
This doesn't include THAT Chelsea game because we went down to 9. We were in the game until stoppage time even then.
Btw, for all the love Van de Ven is rightly getting now, remember, a certain section was mad that he was the "cheap option" as compared to Edmond Tapsoba.
Really can't thank Son & Ange enough, man.
The trophy is key, of course, but also the squad they have created here. They all absolutely love each other & the club as well. Please stay on this path, Spurs, I beg.
🚨😳 Benfica had 2 players suffer ACL injuries in the same match... 🏥
Alexander Bah and Manu Silva both suffered a complete rupture of the ACL.
Speedy recovery to them. ❤️🙏
I don't want to start any drama.
But I believe a reason Lucas Bergvall was bought is because of PR.
Levy doesn't want to lose the Swedes when Deki leaves because of the revenue it brings in.
I do think Lucas has got serious potential too, he’s probably just not ready yet.
🚨🌳 Ange Postecoglou has been appointed as new Nottingham Forest head coach.
Contract approved now by lawyers on both sides as Postecoglou will sign deal until June 2027 at #NFFC.
Clear favorite since last night and deal now in place with Marinakis.
Bentancur has been sensational for most parts for us & was so against City as well.
The no. of attacks he starts after winning the ball just because he's able to turn & pass under pressure is ridiculous. He's been excellent OOP as well.
#THFC
Hey,
You see this club that hasn't won anything for 16 years? Yes, you've to ensure you win them a European trophy this season in a transitional season with one of the worst injury crisis ever, or you've failed.
Oh, btw, we believe the squad is really ...
This is what people like @Dan_KP have been giving him ever since he arrived at Spurs. And then people get mad when he responds.
It's not even about his achievements & success & all of that. It's just basic respect for a professional. We need to slap these people tomorrow, man!
"I will tell you one thing, irrespective of tomorrow, I'm not a clown and never will be."
Ange Postecoglou responds to a report that he would be a 'hero or clown' depending on the Europa League final result.
📺 @tntsports & @discoveryplusUK
I'm sorry but this constant yearning for Poch is very very weak imo. Yes, he was great and that team was great but it also fell apart & that team stopped playing for him.
You want good football, a good team & Success? Stick with Ange & support him properly.
YOUR VIEW 🫵🏼 |>> I’ve seen loads of Poch return posts since his images with Ossie circulated.
Q: Would you like to see him come back and manage this football club again? 🤔
#THFC | #COYS | #SPURS
Wait, what is this? Surely Frankfurt don’t deserve to be in the UCL next season, having lost to a 17th-placed PL team? I thought they were some random low level team.
Arne Slot has been found out.
He cannot manage at this level. This isn't the Dutch league, this is the Premier League.
He won't last till Christmas.
He would be lucky to finish in the top half of the table.
His high line is naive.
That's how it's done, right?
#LIVNOT
Happy Birthday to a serial winner & an absolute Spurs legend! 🤍
The man who personified Audere Est Facere like no other. The man who knows what football is all about. The man who knows what life is all about.
Thank you for everything. Forever my gaffer!
Ange needs to go.
And by that, I mean he needs to walk. Get a mental health break and get back to another club where he'll inevitably win comfortably and loads.
These players don't deserve to be defended in interviews & pressers. Most of this fanbase deserves nothing anyway.
This is one way to tell one of 3 things:
- You either haven't followed Spurs in the last 3 months.
- You're too set in the narratives.
- You know absolutely nothing about the sport.
Even a layman will be able to tell you that Ange has adapted a lot in the recent weeks.
I’m all for a philosophy and a way of playing but when you have the amount of injuries we do you have to change & adapt to the situation, we could easily change to 4231 tell our wingbacks to stop inverting being false midfielders & stop using a single pivot but it’s not our way
They said Mason will do a better job.
They said he's lost the dressing room.
They said we should sack him before AZ.
They're now saying they'll run through brick walls for him.
In two weeks, we all will say, We've won the Europa League.
COYFS! 🤍🥹
If it all meant bringing us this storyline, I will take it.
Well done to this man.
All that he consistently deals with our own "fans" and yet delivers more often than not!
Hope he takes a lot of confidence from this. COYS!
#THFC
Anyone saying "he finally adapted" about our performance in the 2nd leg vs Frankfurt is a great way of weeding out people who don't see Spurs on a regular basis. At least not this season anyway.
Ah right. Under whose leadership France won the WC in the first place and reached the final the second time with multiple injuries.
Twitter casuals strike again.
You can blame him all you want but Ange's playing style is the only reason why we're always in a position to win these games despite all the injuries/fatigue.
We create big chances in almost every game but he can't put the ball in the back of the net, can he?
#TOTWOL
This is great imo.
Either we win & get confidence all around, or if not, Frank gets to assess the level this squad is at against world-class opposition and Arsenal.
The real question is how the player, who is behind Spence (marginally), got completely free, despite Danso making Spence aware of him (as shown in this picture).
I'm sure this question would've been asked more if Spence wasn't everyone's favorite right now.
Just re-watched the Europa League final after all the Sarr talk, but man, the referee!! He really gave United everything! Every contact we made was a foul, while they could do anything to our players!
Maybe this is the heritage their former players keep bragging about.
As teams progress in their rebuild, some things that brought you out of the basement struggle when you also ask them to take you to the ceiling.
Ange hinted at this last night as well.
A bit of that is happening to #THFC in the 1st four games. Let me share some examples:
By that time, Spurs were also 3 points off the Top 4, had hammered United, City, West ham, Villa (who we lost to yesterda7, and more.
Had the 3rd best defense itl & were the 2nd highest scorers.
Don't let this man gaslight you.
The only thing more boring than Jose and Conte's football is the constant Ange In/Out BS after every match.
He's here to stay, as he should. You don't like it? Fair enough. Means absolutely nothing.
Chill out, have a life, and let it all play out. Thanks.
#THFC
The worst thing after a Spurs loss is that there is nothing to do the day after.
When we win, I watch replays, highlights, post-match comments from players, Ange, post-match analysis & highlights from different broadcasters, etc.
Unable to do all that after a loss.
#THFC
