Tornado warned supercell strikes the Badlands, SD July 20th 2020. At this location I took a shock through the leg and out my foot, not a fully connected bolt but enough for me to feel pain for a couple hours.

Example of people that don't know how to chase. When storm chasing you have to stairstep roads. Intercepting tornadoes requires thinking 30 minutes ahead and understanding where it will be. You don't just drive straight towards scary clouds. We drove through the parent wedge a few times yesterday and didn't need to deploy. We had probably 6 intercepts if counting all that.

Significant tornado emergency May 18th near Greensburg, KS. TIV met it west of Pratt, followed it closely north to Plevna, which took a hit. Debris tore off TIV’s radio antenna and downed power lines. Damage was serious one home lost walls but thankfully, injuries were minimal
