You know what's really sad?
Most of the people I argue with on here are the same people I used to look up to as a conservative growing up.
People like Candace, Tucker, even Milo. I appreciated their work and thought they were helping the cause of freedom.
I used to respect many conservative leaders and pundits that I've since been entirely disillusioned by.
Matt is speeding straight towards a bridge too far, Cerno is nuts, Poso is pretty obviously authoritarian, the list goes on and on.
As a younger conservative, watching these cataclysmic shifts in your heroes is hard, but it just reminds me of how incredibly important it is that I try to stick with a rock solid set of principles that won't break down or shift as I get older, become more or less prominent, or whatever may happen.
