But from the video the dog was aggressive toward the officer and if you have ever been attacked by a dog you know real quick how much damage a large dog can do. The dog left the property to go after the officer and to me he was justified. I still hate the dog got shot but if it had bite the officer most likely you would be in jail and the dog put down for aggressive behavior. Sometime things can’t happen perfectly if he thought he was in danger, then justified. Does your city have a lease law in place ?
