Billy Corgan's The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Joins Comet TV on May 1 Sinclair Inc.’s Comet TV is teaming up with Billy Corgan, frontman of the GRAMMY® Award-winning iconic rock band The Smashing Pumpkins and president of National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) to bring NWA Powerrr back to over-the-air TV for the first time in more than three decades. Kicking off May 1–2, NWA Powerrr launches on Comet with a two-night, one-two punch premiere, Friday in primetime at 10 PM, followed by an all-new episode Saturday at 4 PM, with encore presentations both nights. Following premiere weekend, NWA Powerrr will air weekly on Saturdays at 4 PM, with encores at midnight.
