Why are they in poverty?
Are there record unemployment levels in your area?
Are the wages depressed due to high immigration?
Are there too many single mums?

Are too many families smoking and watching sky on their 4k tv or on their i phone 15?
What is it that’s causing this poverty?
My wife and i work, we have three 3 kids, one now in university,
One now starting an apprenticeship and one at school.
We have struggled to pay bills and often been behind a few years ago but we are not in poverty and never have been because we made sure that we fed our kids before we went on holiday, before we bought a new phone and before we spent money on luxury’s
We didn’t get any help from the state apart from child benefit
We just worked hard.
When you can come back and show me where this genuine poverty is then maybe we can discuss ways to help.
