Rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse. If you receive a federal grant, you need to deliver for the American people - or you’ll be cut off. Under President Trump and Director Vought’s leadership, the gravy train grant grift is OVER. nypost.com/2026/05/28/us-new…

The freakout by those on the Left subsidized by taxpayer funds over OMB’s update of the regulation governing federal grant making tells you how important it is to keep the bureaucracies from leaking out spending that is woke, wasteful, and contra to the policies of the Trump Administration thru the NGOs. afj.org/article/federal-fund…

Alongside @WHOMB, we are winning the War on Fraud. American taxpayers will no longer be forced to fund woke NGOs with partisan agendas. 🇺🇸

No more: ❌Paying bogus prices and getting ripped off with YOUR taxpayer dollars ❌Buying the same tool multiple times ❌Paying for tools we don't use ❌Buying tech without CIO approval Check out the Marvelous Mega Memo here: whitehouse.gov/wp-content/up…

I am coming to testify on April 15. You should get up to speed.
This morning, I have one question — where is Trump's Budget Director Russell Vought? The architect of Project 2025 has gone completely missing in front of the Budget Committee, probably because he can't defend the administration's disastrous, unpopular economic record.

.@russvought: "Literally no other President would have done this to get at the foundations of the Green New Deal... Great work to the team — $1.3T in savings."
🚨 @POTUS: "Under the process just completed by the @EPA, we are officially terminating the so-called Endangerment Finding — a disastrous Obama-era policy that severely damaged the American auto industry and massively drove up prices for American consumers."

NEW: The Trump Administration is revoking the 2009 Obama-era "Endangerment Finding" — the basis that Radical Left activists used to justify over $1.3T in crushing regulations on American families and businesses. This is the single largest deregulatory action in U.S. history.

This bill: — Officially ends all taxpayer subsidies for radical, woke programming on NPR and PBS. — Slashes ~$10B in wasteful foreign aid spending. — Continues the closure of the wasteful USAID program, instead creating a new America First opportunity fund. — Cuts funding to abusive, weaponized IRS programs. — Builds on the Republican rescissions package passed last summer. — Fully funds our military, including a well-deserved pay raise for all American service members. — Makes historic investments in American shipbuilding. — Continues funding deportation flights. — Continues the historically successful efforts to reduce crime in our nation's capital.
🚨 @POTUS: "I'm thrilled to sign the Consolidated Appropriations Act to immediately reopen the federal government, and fund the vast majority of operations through the rest of the fiscal year."

This is not accurate. OMB began the process of preparing for a lapse and alerting agencies one week out, as we always do.
I think it's reported that OMB has not yet issued its shutdown memo(s) on how to proceed, and senators have said it doesn't plan to do so through the weekend.

What the Democrats are doing on the government shutdown is genuinely unprecedented, and while the administration has shielded the American people from the worst of the consequences, all of this is coming, and soon: An aviation emergency that will lead to significant travel delays for all Americans. Food stamp and other assistance programs running out for needy Americans. Great strains on our military and national security. The shutdown has now passed from farce into tragedy, and the consequences of this national emergency fall on every senator and congressman who refuses to open the government.
