People forget that the only reason we have Cam Rising in 2024 is because he played through an injury he shouldn't have in a bowl game many seniors opt out of.  The resulting escalation of that injury derailed his career.  Cam Rising was going to declare for the 2023 NFL draft. So instead of declaring, he focuses on rehab and stays involved with the progam.  I get insults coming from BYU fans and other BIG12 fan bases, gotta talk the shit where you can while you can, but from Utah fans? He did all that just to have an injury to his throwing hand 2nd game back. Do you really think he doesn’t want to be playing? Also, do you really still think it’s just a laceration? Cam Rising FINALLY learned that it's best to not risk worsening the injury in the interest of longevity.  There are still 7 regular season games and probably a CCG and a good chance some playoffs. When he comes back, he will be 100% ready to go and take this team to the CCG, I have no doubts about it. Did you all forget that he was still 100% involved with team last year?  Do you realize he spent all of his time with the team trying to coach/help the QB's?  He doesnt get that C on his chest just because he's the quarterback, but because for the last 4 years his peers have voted for him as a leader.  He's earned every cent he's been paid. Now think about this, if Cam Rising wasn't here this year, would the situation be any different?  Probably we'd have Isaac Wilson starting and are in the exact same spot.  The difference is, Cam Rising is coming back to lead this team.   In my humble opinion, stand with cam or find a new team, no need to be a toxic little Karen. BUUUT!! at least 5 of those fouls called on BYU were intentional: Those intentional fouls resulted in 3 points out of 10 free throws. So really Utah should've won by far more than 1 point had we actually made a decent % of our FT's....
