Attempted bike theft in Southampton. Thieving shitbags with a cordless disc cutter tool - versus an angry man with a length of 2x4. Do we encourage this? No. You should always record them, shout at them, call the police etc. Getting an artery cut with a power tool is a one way ticket out of here. But do we love to see this? Yes! Sorry, but despite what people like to spout on Social Media, this is "reasonable force" in our humble opinion. There are multiple suspects and one of them is armed with a deadly weapon. It's a shame he didn't hit him harder. We'd never actively encourage this, but we will certainly applaud anyone who steps up. Who knows... if EVERYONE stepped up, maybe this sort of brazen criminality would decrease? 🤷🏻‍♂️ It's okay though! There will be cops back on every street corner soon enough! 😉
