Long tweet incoming about Brian Callahan, Ran Carthon, and the future of the #Titans: No matter how you look at it, Brian Callahan and *maybe* Ran Carthon are in an impossible position. For starters, if Carthon does indeed stay and isn't fired by Amy Adams Strunk due to another Texans induced tantrum, then expectations for the upcoming offseason will be drastically increased. This team has a lot of needs right now, a lot of which are due to the jihadding done by former GM Jon Robinson. They need a new RT, potentially a new RG, more WR depth, more EDGE rushers, another safety to compliment Amani Hooker, potentially some more ILB depth, more depth behind Jeffery Simmons and T'Vondre Sweat, and most importantly a new QB. Now, with loads of cap room and 8 total picks in the draft — 2 picks in the top 100 — some, if not most of these spots can be addressed, but only if you're willing to concede some in the way of talent. I say that because the upcoming draft lacks a real depth of blue chip talent. So much so that it might only be possible to find a real blue chip talent if you reside within the top 15 to *maybe, and that's a strong maybe* 20 picks. If you expect some sort of roster revolution based solely on this draft, then you're going to be very very disappointed. The Titans could still trade back and acquire more picks, but in a draft that really lacks a depth of blue chip talent, you're playing with house money at this point. Granted you can and still will find good players — this draft has some fun talent — it's just you'd potentially bring in a larger quantity of players that won't be able to make the unrealistic splash you'd be hoping for. Plus, you need a quarterback sooner rather than later anyways. Do you want to pass on a quarterback now? Or wait until 2026? But you don't want to be bad enough to secure a top pick to get a QB in 2026 right? And if you aren't bad enough, you're in a position where you'd have to trade valuable picks — picks you still need btw —you're still not good enough in the eyes of the volatile Amy Adams Strunk. You can't forget about the opening of the new stadium in 2027 either. You need something to put fans in seats, something to make them spend money, and what better way to do that than a shiny QB? Free agency is a bit of a different story, but it's complicated there due to the money expected to be given out. The Titans do indeed have cap room, but only around $61M according to Spotrac. You could bring in some top talent in free agency, but even then you'd still be banking on the draft — which again, isn't a deep draft, especially at positions of extreme value — to fill in the rest AND you'd be asking a handful of rookies to contribute at a decent level early. Now, taking everything into consideration, do you understand the insanity the fanbase, Amy, and others are expected? True rebuilds take years and only in rare cases do you find extremely successful short term rebuilds. The Titans aren't in a position to do such a thing, which should temper expectations regarding their ability to massively transform this roster in such a short period of time. But expectations will remain unreasonably high and as a result, will likely end with Callahan and/or Carthon being canned by next offseason at most.

What’s worse is that the Mike Vrabel meat slobberers are gonna be out in full force like he wasn’t pure urine, shit, and garbage during his last two years. This is worst case scenario.
